The next day Selena and Klaus packed their things so they could leave New Orleans again, they made sure that their children were all ready and didn't forget anything but she noticed that The Original hybrid was acting weird and when she woke up he wasn't there

"Nik are you sure you're okay?" She asked him as they both made their way to the courtyard "You're upset... did something happen?"

"No, love" he assured her and she gave him a look "I need you to do something for me"

"Dad" Luna called as she and Kaine approached their parents in the courtyard

"Dad, aren't you coming?" Kaine asked him and Selena looked at Klaus who seemed troubled

"Lu, K why don't you go wait for me in the car? I need to talk to your father" she told them and they nodded with a sigh and they walked away from the married couple

"Okay tell me what's wrong" she demanded and he ran a hand over his hair slightly overwhelmed and frustrated

"You need to go to the bayou without me" he told her and she frowned in confusion

"Why?"

"Take the twins and Stella. I'll be right behind you" he assured her and she shook her head in denial

"No I'm not leaving until you tell me why?" She firmly said and he grabbed both of her hands

"Our children nearly died. I have to make sure the threat to them is over" he informed her and she shook her head as she stepped back in fear

"Not without me you are not going, Nik. Marcel hates you now more than anyone" she stated as she was so scared to let him go again not knowing if he would come back
