Josh made his way to the Abattoir underground the Mikealson compound, he wanted to show her some kindness so she could tell him about Selena and Hayley's whereabouts. He wanted to show her mercy hoping she'd show the same to the tribrid and the hybrid
"Look at you. The vampire supplicant delivering poison in a bag" she spat bitterly with a scoff and he approached her sitting in front of her with a drip bag and IV in his hands
"It's a hangover cocktail I keep behind the bar" Josh said with an eye roll as he hang up the drip bag and he inserted the needle into her arm "Electrolytes, five 'B' vitamins, a little glutathione"
"Klaus told you to show me pity?" She questioned narrowing her eyes at the vampire in surprise and he sat back on the box in front of her
"No. My choice" he replied and she looked slightly surprised at the vampire's acts "Guess I'm hoping showing you a little kindness convinces you to let Selena and Hayley go. I know that your specific target is Selena... She's a good soul, Greta. And none of what happened was her fault"
"Not directly. But we had years of peace, Josh" she reminded him defending her actions "All of which ended because her loathsome children sullied the evolutionary pool. Poppy was a good soul, too, wasn't she?"
"Josh" Marcel called slightly angry and Josh let out a sigh before standing to exit the dungeon "Have you gone insane?"
"She's no good to us dead, and the drip will only help clear the vervain from her system. And honestly, Marcel, she... she's kind of got a point" Josh defended his actions and Marcel glared at him frostily
"Choose your next words very carefully" Marcel warned him furiously as he couldn't believe that the vampire was defending the woman who kidnapped both Selena and Hayley who were his friends too
"Come on, dude. Look, I don't know exactly what your new deal is with Klaus, but think about it" Josh said persuadably with a pleading look "Binding the twins and Stella means safe Selena and Hayley, no more hybrids, and-"
"And the Mikaelsons go back to where they came from, right?" Marcel finished for him with a raised eyebrow and Josh nodded "Oh, believe me, I have gamed this out already"
