Chapter 29. She is staying

Aiden's pov

I curled into a ball in the closet and hide beneath my clothes. I don't want to meet Eliza, I asked her not to leave and she did! I don't want to see her again. Or you will cry if you saw her again. My wolf commented. I scoffed. Never!

"Puppy, are you in there?" Ruby said from a distance. I stopped my breathing and hide further behind. I heard her footsteps but they faded away soon. What is the problem then? Meet her and she will leave. Why should I?! I don't want to. Okay, prepare to stay hidden for hours because you know damn well she ain't leaving without meeting you. I don't care! I am not going to meet her!

The closet door started opening and someone walked in. I frowned closed my eyes and tried not to get caught. "I know you're here," huh, it's just Harper. I poked my head out. "What are you doing here and How did you know I am here? Did you tell anyone?"

"I had seen you coming here," She sat on the floor across from where I was laying. "Why are you hiding from her?" I scoffed "I am not hiding, I...I don't want to meet her,"

"And why is that?" She asked. "My choice," I replied. She was staring at me intensely before she said "I think she isn't going to leave you again," I rolled my eyes. "You can't trick me,"

"I overheard Eliza and Ruby your mom discussing this," I raised my head up. "What did they say?"

"Since you think I am trying to trick you, I am not going to tell you," She crossed her arms and huffed. I huffed as well and said, "I believe you, tell me what did they say?"

"They were saying something about you needing them both and your mom suggested them both staying here and being your caregivers," Why didn't I think about this? They both can be our caregivers. 'Cause, you're dumb.

"But Eliza declined saying she has responsibility in her town-"  Opps! Aiden got rejected. My wolf mocked. I stopped her "What did she decline being my caregiver or staying here?"

She rethought and then replied "both, she can't be your caregiver if she isn't with you, can she?" Told ya,she rejected you, I bit my inner cheeks, she rejected us. I pointed out. "what else did they say?"

"Nothing else they asked me to find you and bring you down, wanna come out now?" Harper put her hand before me.

We went downstairs and I saw Eliza. She smiled at me and mouthed a hi. I ignored her and sat on the couch. Eliza and Ruby sat on my sides as my mother sat in front of us with Harper.

"How is my baby feeling?" My heart flattered at the love in her voice but I maintained my poker face. Ruby put her hand on my shoulder "She asked something honey," I looked at her and pouted.

"No pouting, answer her," I tried to control my anger and looked down. "Good,"

Ruby peaked her head in front of me and raised her eyebrow. I groaned and reached out for mom. Harper snickered as Eliza asked again "So what did you do to Angel and Claire," I furrowed my eyebrows. We did nothing, right? Let's hope so.

"I didn't do shit," "Why? You should have punished them by now," Oh, we were supposed to do something, I clenched my hand and didn't respond.

She held my hands and asked "Fair enough, No talking about them, tell me did you miss-" I grew more frustrated and pushed the two pairs of hands away from me and said "Get to the fucking point,"

They looked at one another for an answer. "I told her about the conversation over here," Harper explained.

"Very well," mom said with a deep sigh. If I had done that, she would have given me an earful, not a praise. That was not was not a praise. My wolf informed. Huh? "I suppose we can continue our discussion then," Ruby said.

"We for sure can,"  My mom said. Eliza said "As, I was saying...your suggestion about the long-distance relation where I visit once a week and spend a few days with her won't work as well,  I have two littles over there, I don't  think I can leave them and come here frequently," Harper chimed in "Bring them along"

"No! Never!" I spat immediately. I would rather die than have those two pieces of shit over here. Eliza  "However, if she wants to come back, I would have no problem"

"She is the alpha, don't you think she has a responsibility as well," My Mom said. "So, it's final, this is not gonna working," Ruby said.

What no! No, I can't let her go this time, I looked up at Eliza and said "I want to talk to you, alone," She looked around before agreeing. I took her up to my room and locked the door.

"If you don't want to be my caregiver, it's cool, just don't go," She sighed and found her way to the bed, and sat down. "Can you leave this place and come with me?"

I rolled my eyes at the back of my head. "Tell me can you?" I shook my head "no," "Then don't ask me to," She said coldly

"No need to be mean," I said. "Give me one good reason and I will stay," I didn't think much and said the first thing that came into my mind "I need you,"

Her eyes twitched and she said "everyone has tried that reason, hun," I growled and kicked the floor. This is so frustrating. "Don't stay, go back to those assholes, You would have stayed with me if you wanted, you don't want to, you don't care about me, you don't love me, just go away!" I tried to scream but the only thing that came out was a mewl. you idiot

She didn't even spare me a glance and left. "And never come back or show me your face!" I screamed after her. She went down while I stayed in my room. I didn't want to see her leave again.

You had ruin it didn't you? It did nothing, she was being a pain in the ass. After a while, Ruby came into the room, smiling brightly "how did you convince her to stay?"

"By screaming at me," Eliza entered the room with a smirk plastered on her face. she is staying!
