Chapter 40. When did you learn to flirt

"It would help you two in polishing your relation," Mom suggested. Angel nodded and finished chewing before saying "I am fine with hanging out with her,"

"I am not," I retorted.

"We're going to talk about this," Eliza whispered to me as she held the spoon in front of my mouth. I took the spoon in my mouth without responding to her. Oops, Aiden is in trouble. Shut it, assholes, I am not in the mood.

"I am full," I told her, she wiped my lips with a handkerchief and I stood up to leave. I went into my room and shut the door behind me before jumping on the bed. I wanted to sleep right away but I had to wait for Eliza to come and have a talk with me about something.

I wasn't interested in the talk but I was eager for her to start so I could yell at her. What makes you think she will not yell back? My wolf laughed. I don’t care, I would yell louder. Only if you didn't start crying.

I won't, you will see. The door opened and Eliza followed by Ruby entered. Ruby locked the door as Eliza matched toward me. Their expressions look more like they are planning on beating the crap out of you. They would never.

Eliza pulled me up on my feet and sat down before pulling me into her lap. She wrapped her hand around my waist and commanded "Now, tell me,"

"What?" I asked.

"What is your problem?" She questioned with a no-bullshit look. "I am the Alpha, I get to choose whether-" She put a finger on my lip. "I'm not asking just about that, I'm asking overall,"

I whined as I tried to get off her lap. Ruby came from behind and held me tighter. "No running away, answer her," Eliza pulled me in and I groaned "I don't understand what you're asking me,"

Ruby kissed my head and sat down as Eliza said "We want to know, why are you so stubborn and dafty...."

"Grumpy and sensitive..." Ruby completed her sentence. I furrowed my eyebrows and huffed. "What's that even supposed to mean?"

"We mean why can't you just not be you for a second and let your heart take a rest from all the anger, it's filled with," Ruby elaborated to me.

I scratched my neck and replied "Not my fault everybody does whatever I don't want them to do,"

"You need to understand, people aren't bound to do things according to your will," Ruby said.

"Well but they expect me to do what they want so they should do what I want," I argued. "You're a little naive in certain matters, baby girl,"

"I'm not, I'll soon be as big as you," She chuckled and said "Of course,"

"We're giving you one last chance to provide a reasonable explanation of your behavior," Eliza said. "I just did,"

"That's your final answer?" Eliza raised her eyebrow and I nodded. "Then, we have decided to punish you each time you throw a tantrum,"

I shrugged. "Sure,"

"We're serious," She said. "I survived wolfsbane, I can surely survive a beating," I reported.

Eliza cupped my cheek and said "No, pup, we would never ever lay a hand on you,"

"We won't do anything that would cause you harm...but you may get a light spanking tho," Ruby added. I nodded, we never know when the light spanking escalates.

"And yeah, we won't be with you at home in the morning from tomorrow onwards, we have joined a pet handler's group to understand more about your pet side and help you regress," I hummed and slipped off her lap.

"You will have Kristen, Angel and we will ask Harper to come-"

I snapped my head toward Ruby and warned "Don't you fucking dare bring her here,"

"Cursing will also bring you punishment," Eliza said. I rolled my eyes and laid down on the bed. Ruby went to get my night clothes and said "Come on, shower, brush your teeth then to bed,"

"How about just change and get to sleep?" I looked up at her. "No," Eliza said while Ruby started unbuckling my belt. Ruby held up her hand for me, I sighed as I took it and she guided me to the bathroom.

Eliza left for her room after helping me into shorts and a shirt. I was laying in bed with Ruby as she was doing something on her phone. "Should I play something on the tv for you baby?" She asked.

I turned over and replied. "No, I want to sleep," She slipped her hand under me and wrapped it around my stomach. "You literally spend the whole day sleeping, you still have more sleep left in you?"

I hummed in response. "Only if I had this much sleep in me," She chuckled. I scoffed. "You would have if you weren't on your phone the whole time,"

I felt a light smack on my head. "Not my problem you have nothing that interests you,"

She spun my body around and smirked. "You interest me,"  She shook her head and said "I am not talking about a person, I am talking about a thing, something that keeps you entertained,"

"You can entertain me," I put my head on her chest. She brought her face down and pulled me into a kiss. "Since when did you learn to flirt," She whispered into my lips.

I grinned as she pulled away. "Stop grinning and get to sleep,"

I ran a hand through my hair and said "You should entertain me,"

"oh yeah? How should I?" I shrugged my shoulders as my ears burned. "How mates do,"

She leaned in with a sly smile and said "I am no wolf so you would have to explain how mates do that," I looked away and fiddled with my fingers.

"It's...like...umm," I scratched my neck. "I want to sleep," I uttered. I pulled the comforters over my face. I heard her laugh and scrunched my face. Atleast, it made her laugh...
