Time-served Till Solace

Chapter 29

The early morning sky was just so mesmerizing that I wish the time could stop right here and right now and I could watch this view forever, but when does time stop for anyone or anything?

I kept walking on a path which was in front of me. I don't know where it was leading to but I kept walking on it. There were so many trees and flowers around here I guess this whole area comes under their private property otherwise who would plant these many trees and flowers. This whole scene in front of me was so amazing and calming that it for now I could feel the tension leaving from my body. I kept walking and came across a small man made lake that had a clear water in it.
There was a wooden bench by its side. It looked very old. I was a little tired now so I decided to sit on it plus I could see the sunrise right in front of me.

While sitting here I kept wondering what will happen with my life? My whole life I kept wondering about my family. I had this question that why did my family left me. Since the day I found about those pictures this thought kept running at the back of my head; what if they are my real family? What will happen when they'll know the truth? Will they accept me? But they hated Eleanora, was she really my mother? I have to do something to know the truth. So I decided to call the only person who could help me right now with this. I took the phone out of my pocket and opened the contact list and looked for the name I know will help me. I dialed his number and after 4 rings he picks up.

Unknown-- I never thought you'd call me. I guess my day will be better today.

(I rolled my eyes at his dialogue)

Hazel-- When will you stop with your cheesy lines. You know it doesn't work on me.

Unknown-- I know sweetheart, but You know that you are few of those people in my life that I can die for.

Hazel-- please don't start with that now that too early in the morning.

Unknown-- fine princess what can I do for you?

Hazel-- I want do a paternity test. I need you to collect the samples from me.

Unknown-- have you found them?

Hazel-- may be but I wanted to be sure before I get to any conclusions.

Unknown-- okay. Where do you want me to collect it from?

Hazel-- I try to get the samples today by afternoon and find a way to meet you somewhere.

Unknown-- find a way? What you mean? Are you okay Hazel?

Hazel-- yes I am, don't worry. Will you be able to make sure that I can get the results by tomorrow evening? Or as early as possible?

Unknown-- sure. Where will we meet?

Hazel-- I'll text you the address.

Unknown-- okay then I'll see you later my princess.

Hazel-- okay

And with that our conversation was ended. Now I have to find a way to get a sample of hair, nail or toothbrush from Armando's room. The sun was coming out now and the whole view was even more beautiful.

After few more minutes I decided to get up and start walking back the same path I walked here. I only took me 15 minutes to reach back. As I entered the house it was still very quiet. I was a little thirsty so I started looking for a way to kitchen after few minutes I entered and It was so big and beautiful

I went towards the huge fridge and took a bottle of water from it and looked for a glass in the cabinet. After some struggle I found it and then drank the water. After putting the glass in sink I went back to the living room and saw Mr. Fedrick putting some daily newspaper on the table. When he saw me he smiled and walked towards me.
"Hello Hazel, how are you? And what happened to your arm?"
"Hello Mr. Fedrick. I had a little accident with my arm. But I'm fine now."
"Okay. Good to know. Why are you up so early? You should be resting right now."
"I was getting bored in the room so I went for a little walk."
"Okay, have you eaten something?"
I shook my head in response so he smiled a little and continued
"Okay dear, follow me."
"What are you doing Mr. Fedrick?"
"Are you hungry for omelets?"
"Are you going to make it?"
"Do you see anyone else around? "
I shook my head and he said "also stop calling me Mr. Fedrick all the time." He complained.
"Alright, how about captain Rick?"
"Captain!! Why?"
"And why not?"
"Fine, still better then Mr. Fedrick." He said laughing.

With that he started chopping the tomatoes, onions and chili for omelets. I was very impressed with his chopping skills.
And within few minutes it was really. He toasted two bread slices in the same plan and put it in different plate and placed it in front of me.

I took a bite of it and damn it was soo good. I didn't realised that I was hungry until now.
"It's very good Captain Rick, thank you."
"No worries dear, now eat it before someone comes in the kitchen and asks for more."
"Hahaha... okie dokie."
I was about to take another bite but an angry bull came marching in the kitchen
"What the hell are you doing here?"
