Y/N and the other spider people walk out of a public bus and web-sling themselves away and up on a crane

Peni uses her scanner on the building as the others walk over to her

Peni: "Kingpin has a private elevator entrance from his penthouse to the collider below"

Noir: "Didn't count on having an audience"

They look at the crowd below and then swing to the roof of the building. They reach the top and spy through a window, seeing a celebration of some sort commencing

Everyone: "You've gotta be kidding me"

They all see Kingpin standing behind a podium and giving a speech in a fundraiser for Spider-Man

Kingpin: "Thank you, it's nice to be with you this evening to celebrate Spider-Man. He and I were very close..."

Y/N/Gwen: "What a pig"

Spider-Ham turns his head to the two with an offended look

Spider-Ham: "I'm right here"

Noir: "Hold on. Get a load of how the waiters are dressed"

He points to the staff as they are all adjourned in dress shirts, bowties, and Spider-Man masks

Noir: "It's in poor taste but... it can't be that easy"

The spider group then passes by some tables as they have bowties and are moving a cart with Peni under it

Noir: "It's that easy"

They continue passing through the crowd as Kingpin continues his speech

Kingpin: "And I just want to thank Mary Jane Parker for being here this evening. Our prayers are with you, Mrs. Parker"

Peter abruptly stops and looks over to see Mary Jane sitting at a nearby table

Peter: "MJ?"

He keeps staring at her as she stands and walks away from her seat. He slowly walks backward until Y/N and Gwen get in his face

Gwen: "Pay attention!"

Y/N: "Not the MJ you know, Peter"

They both push Peter back in line, but he looks back again and starts to walk in Mary Jane's direction with the cart

Peter: "I'm sorry, I'll be right back-"

Gwen: "Pe- Peter! Come here!"

Y/N and Gwen stop the cart and halt him

Y/N: "Trust me, I know how you feel, pal. To look at her face and feel nothing but guilt"

Y/N slightly turns his head to Gwen and she does the same, both gaining saddened looks under their masks

Peter: "It'll take one second"

He walks away from the two

Peter: "Let me just- Oh!"

His eye go wide as he stands in front of Mary Jane

Mary Jane: "Hello"

Peter: "Oh, wowwww..."

Mary Jane: "Uhh, I just wondered if we could have some more bread at table twelve"

She notions to the table with her head and Peter nods in accordance

Peter: "Yeah"

Y/N and Gwen both facepalm and drag their hands down their faces as they see Peter have an existential crisis
