Moving Forward

Three weeks after Y/N and Felicia's relationship officially is over, the young spider hero is sparring with Miguel inside the training room

Miguel: "Just like that!"

Miguel shouts as he gets into his fighting stance after blocking a kick from Y/N

Y/N flips back and free-falls before turning invisible

Miguel furrows his eyebrows and shifts his eyes in many directions. He hones in on the faintest sound

Miguel: "Come on, kid. You got this"

Miguel readies himself as he hears the sound of a web going off right beside him. His eyes shoot wide open and he side-steps

Miguel: "Got you!"

Miguel throws a punch forward but strikes nothing but air, making him look at the open space puzzled

Miguel: "Huh?"

Miguel is brought out of his thoughts as he is kicked in the back of his head. He is sent straight to the ground and bounces off of it

Y/N reappears and reels his fists back as Miguel turns around to face him

Miguel's eyes grow wide upon seeing Y/N's fist coming at him

Miguel: "Oh, shock-"

Y/N connects the punch and hits Miguel square on the jaw. The force of it sends the man a few feet to the side and he then lands harshly on the ground

Y/N lands in a crouched position before rising to his feet. He walks up to Miguel and looks down at him. He then extends his arm

Miguel opens his eyes and sees Y/N's arm. He takes it and gets up

Miguel: "That was good. Much better than last time"

Y/N doesn't respond and keeps his eyes set on Miguel

Miguel: "I can see you did that trick where you drop a web bomb. Glad you're using your new arm optimally"

Y/N: "Hm"

Y/N keeps his blank expression

Miguel: "Your punch even got stronger"

Miguel expresses as he massages his jaw

Y/N: "Hm"

Y/N nods

Miguel internally sighs and pats on Y/N's arm

Miguel: "That'll be it for today. I'll let you know if anything comes up"

Y/N nods once more and turns to leave. He starts walking out when LYLA appears next to Miguel's shoulder

LYLA: "He's still taking it hard, huh?"

Miguel sighs and stares at Y/N as he leaves the training area

Miguel: "He just needs some time. I know he'll bounce back. He always does"

LYLA gives a concerned look at Miguel and disappears

A little while later, Y/N is moving a few anomalies to the spider transporter machine

Gerbil Kraven: "Unhand me this instant, or I'll kill you- OW!"

The animal variant of the villain holds the top of his head in pain as Y/N flicks it

Margo: "Y'know, he's actually kind of adorable"
