A month later in the Spider-Society cafeteria, Y/N is enjoying a Spider-Man 2099-themed burger with Peni across from him

Y/N: "I'm telling you, it would be a great idea"

Peni takes a quick sip of her drink as she rests her face on her palm

Peni: "I don't think a giant web slingshot is the best idea for us to travel around here"

Y/N: "Aw, c'mon! We've all done it before. What's a bigger one gonna-"

Jess: "Y/N, I need you to come with me. An anomaly popped up"

Jess says as she walks up to the two teens

Y/N: "Can I finish my burger?"

Peni lightly chuckles as some ketchup drips off of Y/N's cheek and onto the plate

Jess: "Now"

She says with a stern tone and walks away

Y/N groans in response and gets up with his burger in hand

Peni: "It's alright, Y/N, we'll hang out later"

Y/N walks backward and takes a bite of his food while looking at Peni

Y/N: "Let Margo and Hobie know! We can meet up back here!"

Y/N says as he starts to run off after Jess. He catches up with her and takes the last bite of his burger

Y/N: "So, what do we got?"

He struggles to say as he chews his food

Jess raises an eyebrow and looks at Y/N in disgust

Jess: "Can you please have some manners?"

Y/N swallows his food and wipes his face clean

Y/N: "My bad. So, what am I dealing with? A Doc Ock? Hydro-Man? Ooh! Is it a symbiote-"

Jess: "A Black Cat"

Jess begins pushing the controls on her watch as Y/N drops his arms down in disappointment

Y/N: "Really? C'mon, Jess. Why can't you give this to somebody else? Black Cat is not even worth batting an eye at"

Jess: "Miguel told me specifically to give this one to you. The reason is that you've never dealt with a variant of her before, and he wants you to be prepared if more come in the future"

Y/N: "But-"

Jess: "I just sent you the coordinates"

Jess looks back up at Y/N who checks his watch

Y/N: "Earth-TRN454?"

Jess: "Yeah. It's a mirror universe of that Peter from Earth-12041"

Y/N: "So everything is basically the same as his dimension? What's different about it, then?"

Jess: "You'll find out. Now c'mon, you got a cat to catch"

Y/N rolls his eyes and fiddles with his watch until a portal opens up

Jess: "Don't take it easy on this one. She can be real tricky if you're not careful"

Y/N waves her off

Y/N: "I'll be fine. What's one common crook gonna do that I haven't seen before?"

Jess: "Uh-huh"

Y/N begins walking into the portal and shouts at Jess

Y/N: "You owe me a burger!"

Y/N fully enters the portal and disappears. The portal soon fades away and leaves a smirking Jess
