On Earth-FA/N, Peter and Mary Jane sit across from each other with their cold food, still discussing the topic of their dearest friend

"How can you say that?" Peter questions in a crude manner, prompting Mary Jane to nervously raise her hands

"Look, I'm not saying we're replacing him. I just think we need to move past it." The reason only makes Peter's face contort even more, raising an eyebrow as his mouth slightly opens

"Move past it? Are you serious right now?" Peter stands up from his chair and harshly pushes it back as a result. "How could I move past it? My best friend is out there, lost and you're telling me I just need to forget-"

"That's not what I mean and you know it!" Mary Jane shouts as she rises to her feet as well, slamming her hands on the table. The sudden outburst gains the attention of bystanders, attention the two teens notice. They give each other a look and quickly leave the area to a secluded one. They arrive and Mary Jane looks at Peter with her arms crossed, her jacket in between and dangling

Peter sees her scowl and sighs in defeat. "Look... I'm sorry. I just..." Peter momentarily looks into Mary Jane's eyes before averting their gaze, looking at some friend groups pass by. "I miss him, MJ. He's basically my brother"

Mary Jane softens her expression and listens on. "For as long as we've known each other, he always had my back. Protecting me from Flash, landing me a summer internship to help pay for my Aunt and Uncle's bills, and..." He shifts his eyes back to her with a saddened expression. "Giving me the courage to make my move and be with you..."

"Pete..." Mary Jane uncrosses her arms and grows a long face, her eyebrows slightly furrowed while depressingly shaking her head. "C'mere." She holds out her arms and takes a few steps toward Peter who does the same. They both embrace each other and take deep breaths

"I'm sorry for what I said. I know you're just trying to-" Peter stops his apology as Mary Jane tightens her hold, knocking a bit of wind out of the young Parker

"Don't talk too much. Just let it out. I'm here and I'll always be here, don't worry." After a moment of letting the words soak in, Peter digs his face deep into her shoulder, allowing the sobs to be muffled and tears to run over her clothes, even coming in contact with her red hair

On Earth-56201, Ghost tackles Y/N out of the sky and brings him down toward the floor. The two teens crash on the ground and skid along it. They both stop their movement by sticking to the floor with the tips of their fingers. "What the hell are you doing!?!" Y/N yells as he looks up at Ghost

"I'm saving my boyfriend!" She rises to her feet and shoots several organic web balls that Y/N dodges. She keeps firing the projectiles until the boy starts closing the gap, side-stepping and easily reading her moves. "There's gotta be another way!" She yells while leaping backward, as well as shooting a web line to gain some extra distance

"This is the way! You just don't want to accept it!" Y/N yells as he webs up some stones and throws them at Ghost before leaping after her. He shoots a web line and swings around as Ghost webs together the oncoming projectiles; and as she finishes, she's hit with a clothesline to the chest. Y/N shoots a line to a wall and pulls himself along with Ghost, slamming her against it as he reaches the part of the building

"GAH!" She yelps in pain as the wall easily crushes from the force of the impact. She grits her teeth and pushes Y/N's arm off. She jumps and throws a kick to the boy's face, but it's easily caught as he grabs her ankle
