In the heart of Queens, a door to an apartment opens, allowing a mother and her child to enter

"Hey, Gwen." Peter answers as he views Gwen with Y/N holding her hand. "Already coming to pick up, Peni, huh?" He asks with a smile while leaning his body on his arm that's holding the side of the door frame

"Yeah. Big Man and I are done running our errands." She sighs in relief and grows a smile while her eyes close. She lets out a small and nervous laugh while slightly tilting her head. "Sorry again for it being such short notice. I just had to-"

"Don't." Peter interrupts while holding a hand up. "Don't do that. It's fine. Honestly, you don't have to apologize. We're friends and I know you're a good mother, so this is no trouble at all. Besides..." Peter then points behind himself with his thumb and a relieved expression. "Helps me get a break from Mayday and Ben." This causes Gwen to chuckle and nod

"Thanks, Peter. I mean it. You and MJ have been a big help ever since... Well, yeah..." Gwen expresses her last words as she averts Peter's eyes. She lets out a tired breath, prompting the thoughtful Parker to move the conversation along

"He- Hey, let's get inside. I bet Peni is dying to see you two. Come on." He moves aside for Gwen and Y/N to come through the doorway, with the boy having an unbelieving expression

"Peni? My evil little sister? Dying to see us?" He scoffs and mockingly shakes his head while letting out a chuckle. "Yeah, that'll be the day" He puts his hands in his pockets as Peter closes the door and follows them into the living room where Peni and his two other children are playing with what looks to be drones

"Wait, why are the toaster and coffee maker flying!?!" Peter yells in shock and despair as the coffee drone shoots out coffee grounds while the toaster fires cooked bread

"Wooh! Yeah! We're like, Iron Man, now!" Ben and Mayday cheer simultaneously, throwing their arms up in the air as Peni stands proudly at her inventions doing their duties

"Yup. I know. I'm just that good." The little girl boasts, causing Gwen to pinch the bridge of her nose while letting out an irritated sigh. "Peni... Please turn your Uncle's coffee maker and toaster back to normal." She demands with a tired voice, causing Peni to groan in defeat

"Ugh. Fine..." Peni takes out the control of the modified devices from her jacket and turns them back to normal, causing them to fall to the floor, the coffee maker's glass part breaking upon hitting the ground. The shards of glass on the floor make Peter look on in despair as he grows a nervous smirk

"Hopefully MJ doesn't get too mad..." Peter chuckles as he scratches the back of his head, causing Gwen to sigh again

"Hey, Peter, I'm sorry. I'll send you the money for a new maker next week, okay?" Gwen states, making Peter wave off the concern

"Oh, don't worry about it. Accidents happen." He expresses while putting one of his hands on his thigh while the thumb of it rests in his pocket. "We can survive a day without coffee... I think"

"No, I'm not gonna just let my kid-" Gwen stops her sentence to give Peni a nasty look, making the gifted child sweat a bit and avert her mother's stare while Ben and Mayday snicker at her distress. "Just come in here and break one of your things, and not pay for-" She tries and continue her point when Peter cuts her off by raising his hand in the air
