June

One weekend in June, Rory and Logan found themselves sitting in Luke's diner with Delilah and Lorelai. For whatever reason Delilah felt the need to say hi to every single person that walked into the diner and bye to everyone that left.

"Hi!" Del said when Luke walked out of the kitchen and put a plate in front of Rory.

"Hi kid" Luke said

"What's this?" Rory asked

"His newest creation" Lorelai said. "It's amazing"

"It's a corn dog" Rory said

"It's a breakfast corn dog" Lorelai said

"I took a breakfast sausage, wrapped it in bacon, and then dipped it in pancake batter before sticking it in the fryer" Luke said

"Sounds like something I would've eaten when I was pregnant" Rory chuckled

"Try it" Lorelai said

Rory took a bite of Luke's new breakfast concoction. "Luke, you're a genius"

"Told you" Lorelai said

"Here noodle" Rory said and ripped off a piece of pancake for Del before passing it to Logan to try.

"Any update on the wedding front?" Lorelai asked

"Yeah. We're done" Rory said. "By the way, is it weird that we're calling it a wedding even though we're already married?"

"I don't think so" Lorelai said.

"Hi!" Delilah shouted happily when the door opened and Kirk walked into the diner.

"Rory, what does she want from me?" Kirk asked

"To say hi" Rory said

"Oh..." Kirk said

"Hi!" Delilah said again.

"She's not gonna stop until you say it back" Logan said

"Hi baby" Kirk said

Delilah giggled.

"What do you want, Kirk?" Luke asked

"Coffee please"

A little while later Rory was sitting in the town square with Lorelai, watching Del play on the grass.

"Hey, are you guys planning on having a honeymoon?" Lorelai asked

"Yeah, we're finally gonna do that Asia trip we never got to do" Rory said

"What about Del?"

"Mitchum and shira offered to watch her" Rory said.

"That's nice" Lorelai said. "You know I was about to offer though, right?"

"I do" Rory smiled.

"So how long are you going for?"

"Well, Logan wants to do 3 weeks because that was the original plan, but I don't think I'm gonna be able to be away from Del for that long" Rory said. "So we planned out 2 weeks and we might go for an extra week depending on how Delilah's doing"

A few minutes later Delilah ran over and sat on Rory's lap.

"Your hair looks crazy" Rory said and ran her fingers through Delilah's blond and somewhat curly hair.

"Mama this" Del pointed to Rory's engagement ring.

"Yeah, let's leave those alone" Rory said
