I open the door from the shower, in only a towel.

"Oh hi." Jere leans against the doorframe. "How'd you sleep."

"Fine."

"You excited about the volleyball tournament?"

"Uh yeah but, you know I'm better at soccer."

"I don't wanna rush you or anything but we should talk about the other night."

"Yeah we will at some point, maybe just when all the craziness of the tournament is done."

"Yeah."

"Ok well i'm gonna get dressed."

I shut the door and start to get changed.

I almost feel bad, because i think he's expecting something he might not get i mean, I still love Conrad.

'Shit, I'm late for Cleaveland. Again.'

I chuck on a pair of blue jeans and a random t-shirt and run to where i'm meeting him.

"So sorry." I tell him out of breath.

"It's no problem, but i think the boat might have one."

"What is it?" I ask, bluntly.

"You alright Y/N?"

"Yeah I'm perfectly fine." I step into the boat.

"So I think it could be wood rot. Can you take a look?"

"Yep."

I crouch down to the main area and pull on the plank.

"Yeah, you see how brittle it is on the inside? This is bad man, we have to pry off bits until we reach clean wood."

I carry on yanking pieces off.

"Fuck ow." I yell as one of them gives me a splinter.

"You're a little on edge y/n."

"Been a bad week." I tear up slightly.

"What's wrong?"

"Stuff." I pull more planks of wood off.

"How's stuff going with that boy?"

"Not good." I say firmly. "And this isn't looing good either, I mean it keeps going and going. The whole goddamn thing is infected and I didn't notice." My voice trembles and my heart starts to race.

"It's everywhere and I didn't notice!" I shout tears filling my eyes.

"Y/N woah."

I stand up and hold my heart as my chest feels like its closing in on my lungs.

"What's going on?"

"My heart's beating really fast." I take in a gasp of air. "It's really hard to breathe."

He sits me down.

"Its normal, you're having a panic attack." He holds my shoulder. "Look at me deep breaths."

I breathe in and out, until it slows.

"Y/N. What's going on?"

"It's Susannah she um."

A while later, Cleaveland tells me coping techniques.

I sit in a little ball.
