A/N  I don't know anything about volleyball so please, don't bully me. Also i didn't want this entire chapter to be volleyball, so If it seems cut off short, that's because it is.

After defeating our first team, we move on to the second round.

For the first few minutes, Jeremiah and I both do great, perfect serves, saves and are overall winning.

Suddenly,  Jere starts to slip. He begins to miss every single throw that comes his way.

"You gotta dive for those! That's why we're on sand." I yell, annoyed.

"Alright." He chuckles.

He's not taking this shit seriously.

He falls again.

"Gotta work on my dive right?"

I don't reply.

We wait for them to serve.

"Don't look at me, watch the ball."

The ball then flies right past him.

"Jeremiah focus!" I shout.

After at least ten more mistakes, I know i can't win with him.

"Ref can we get a time out." I turn around to Conrad, who has a slight grin on his face. "I have to win this, they'll match my pledges."

"Yeah. I get it." Jere says in defeat, storming off of the court.

"Con, sub in."

He switches shirts right away and joins me on the court.

"Where do you want me?"

"Start up."

"Lets beat them."

"Lets do it."

We serve three times and every time we manage to earn a point.

They hit the ball right off our side of the court and I high five Conrad.

He spins the ball on his finger and whacks it right onto their side.

I point at him and smirk with glee.

He serves one last time, and it hits the corner of the other teams court, before bouncing off.

"Yes!" I yell and we hold hands and jump around with excitement.

I throw my arms around him for a good few seconds and huge smiles grow on our faces.

The next round rolls along. Belly and Taylor.

"We are gonna beat them okay." He winks to me, before throwing the ball up, and hitting it to the back of their side, just in bounds.

"Yes Conrad!" I cheer.

After what feels like hours we finally beat Belly and Taylor.

Conrad wraps his arm round my waist.

"We might just win this thing."

"Maybe." I giggle with pure happiness.

The next and last game. Team Shayla.

"We've got this Y/N, don't worry."

"I'm not." We do a little handshake before starting the game up.

Back and forth, back and forth, back and forth.

The score seems even so far but we know it won't be for long.
