I smiled seeing my reflection in the mirror. I'm wearing my blazing red toga, the color of the toga of the students who are a part of the Hell Section. Finally, this is it!

Pumasok sa kwarto ko si mommy at daddy. Instead of Kyron, sila na lang ang pinapunta ko. I want to make them proud. I'm graduating as the Suma Cum Laude of the batch!

"You're beautiful princess." Daddy said.

Napangiti ako saka lumapit kay daddy para mayakap siya. "Thanks daddy. You're the most handsome man I ever met!"

"Not Kyron?"

Seriously? "Of course not. It will always be you daddy." Umangkla ako sa braso ni daddy. "You're my first love after all."

Natawa ako nang makita ko kung paano namuo ang luha sa mata ni daddy.

"Ano ba yan Andrew! Graduation ng anak mo. Walang patay kaya huwag kang umiyak diyan. Ang iyakin mo talaga." Asar ni mommy kay daddy.

"Our daughter's are so sweet my."

Dad had always been the emotional one. Siya ang may mababaw na luha kaya palagi siyang inaasar ni mommy.

After our little chit chat, I checked my phone and was surprised to see that Kyron didn't texted me nor called me. Baka masyado siyang busy kaya nawala na sa isip niyang graduation ko ngayong araw. I was hoping for a congratulatory message though.

Gaya nga ng inaasahan ko noon, hindi nga makakarating sa graduation ko si Kyron. He's still in New York for a seminar. Ayaw niya sanang pumunta doon pero pinilit ko siya. I know he needed to attend that seminar.

"Sweetheart, it seemed like I can't attend your graduation." He looked so bothered and worried.

"Why? May lakad ka ba?"

"I have a one week seminar to attend to at New York." He said then he pouted. "Kung ako lang ang masusunod, gusto ko dito lang ako."

One thing I observed of him is his clinginess. Mr. Tanjuatco's level of cheesiness and clinginess is beyond heavens! I never thought that a man with such clinginess could exist.

Though hindi naman ganun katindi ang clinginess ni Kyron, still, nakakapanibago pa rin since I never saw him acted like that before.

But what did he said? One week? Parang ang tagal ata.

"One week? Usually seminars last for three days right?"

"Yeah but this ones different. I'll attend the first three days seminar as part of the first batch. However, from the third day to the sixth day, they asked me to be the speaker of a specific topic which is marketing strategies and efficiency in work." He hugged me from behind. "Noong nakaraang taon pa kasi to pinaschedule. Kanina ko lang nacheck yung schedule ko."

"Sorry sweetheart." Nararamdaman ko ang sincerity niya habang humihingi ng tawad.

He seemed so worried about what I'll think. I indeed became silent and understandingly nodded.

Honestly, it don't mind him being absent on one of the most special events of my life especially when he have this valid reason of not being present there.
