You know that feeling you get when everything seems just absolutely perfect. When life is going smoothly. When the world is turning perfectly and the stars are aligned.

Earlier that Friday, I woke up to the peacefulness of sunlight through my small window. I had climbed out of my bed, Romeo scampering behind me and rubbing against my legs.

My dad wasn't home, thankfully. I decided to make my favorite French toast, even slicing up a banana and adding it to the cinnamon coated bread.

My boss at the diner gave me a raise. Jane got one too, since business has been rocking lately. I finally had enough money to pay for Christmas.

I went unnoticed at school. I nailed my math test. It wasn't too cold to sit outside, so I did. And I got extra credit on my physics paper.

I was complimented on my singing performance by several people, and to top it all off, Isaac asked me to the dance.

I spent all night thinking about it. What did it mean? Was it as friends? Did he like me back? I think he did, but I wasn't sure.
