Meow.

No.

Meow.

I said no.

Meow.

"Dammit Romeo," I mumble, waking up to find the small feline on my chest, blue eyes hovering above mine.

"Meow." He says, pawing my face.

I gently rub behind his ears. "Good morning, sir," I greet with a croaky morning voice. Romeo rubs his face against my arm, meowing some more, telling me to get up. Oh, just how lovely it is to have a cat-alarm-clock that wakes you up at 8:00 on winter break.

I roll out of bed. Literally. Which results in my collapsing onto the floor. I feel Romeo start walking across my back, and I lay on the wood for a minute or two, face smushed into the ground.

When I finally decide to stop being a useless human being, I stand up, staggering over to my door, swinging it open and climbing up the stairs, Romeo at my heels.

I reach our kitchen, walking to the pantry to get some food, when I hear someone speak to me.

"Did you sleep well?" Caroline asks, hair tied up in a bun, sipping a cup of coffee.
