At the same place, with the same grinning expression.



She had noticed him come in and waved merrily.


For a heartbeat, he stood there.

Then he blinked, tugging at the strap of his backpack.



Slowly, he went over to her.




"Good afternoon, Ao-kun!" she greeted brightly. "The usual?"

He made a stiff nod.


"Alright!" She went to prepare his orders on a tray and handed it to him.

"Your cappuccino will be coming up soon. I'll let the waiter take it to you," she informed.

He nodded again.

Reluctantly, he took the tray from her hands.




He turned to stare at her, expecting her to say something else.

Anything else.



But instead, all she did was give him a wide smile.
