Outside the classroom window,
the world had turned white.

From the sky,
small flakes descended quietly and slowly,
reaching the surface and coloring the earth in a pale glow.

He stared at the snow as it fell beyond the transparent glass.

"–wara-san."

"–Fujiwara-san."

"–excuse me, Fujiwara-san."

He blinked, turning around.

An unknown girl was leaning too close to him.

In her hand, she held a poster.

He narrowed his eyes. She glanced away uncomfortably.

"Ah... um... I wanted to give you the... poster... for the winter party, since I was tasked by the professor... But if you don't want to, then...," she mumbled feebly, holding it out to him.

He paused.

Then, he reached out and silently took it from her. As he did, he gave a small nod.

The girl's expression brightened.

A smile crept on her face.

"Um... if possible, would you also like to come with me and my friends to karaoke tonight?" she suddenly asked eagerly, leaning even closer. "A lot are comi—"

The girl flinched.

She stopped abruptly as he looked at her with a cold glare.

He sighed. He opened his mouth.

"Don't act like you're familiar with me."
