The shepherd boy met a lot of people in his journey with the raven.
A murderer, for gluttony.
A courtesan, for lust.
A thief, for greed.
A king, for pride.
A warrior, for wrath.
A slave, for envy.
A noble, for sloth.
He learned a lot of things for the first time, as well.
Like the warmth of a family.
Like the material weight of gold.
Like the smile of someone overjoyed.
For the first time, the boy was able to learn the difference between
happiness,
sadness,
and empathy.
He was able to see the both the beauty of the world he had never explored,
and the ugliness that lurked underneath its light.
In just a short span of time, he also grew to love the world and everything in it.
Thanks to his journey, the shepherd boy was able to learn many, many valuable things.
Then, the seventh day came.
