Hide n Go Seek

(Skipping to backstage of the show)

< Diggy POV >
It was 4 o'clock in the afternoon and the show started at 7:30; we had a bunch of time to just chill and relax before the show to help get out our pre show jitters. All the acts and I were backstage sitting in the main backstage room playing games, on social media, clowning around, etc. "Let's play hide & go seek" Bre suggested. "I'm it" Roc said. "I'm counting to 50"

I grabbed my phone and hurriedly ran someplace to hide. Searching for places was a challenge because most of them were out in the open. I ran down the long hallway filled with all types of crew members setting up as I looked for a place to hide.

I finally found the room I was looking for so I rushed into it slowly closing the door behind me  so no one would hear it. Practically running towards a set of stairs, I almost tripped over pop cans lying on the floor. "Sshh" I said to one of the workers looking at me strange. He nodded and resumed back to whatever he was working on. I walked up the set of stairs trying to be as quiet as possible and started walking across the ledge that held the lighting crew. Yep, that's right I was hovering over the stage.

From where I was located, I could see Prince hiding in one of the sections of audience chairs and Myles was hiding in between equipment. I quietly laughed to myself at their open hiding spots; they could have done better. I make myself comfortable as I might be here for a while and pull out my phone to keep myself occupied.

I quietly jump in my seat as I hear Prince yell "CHEATER" when Roc found him . "How? Yo hair gave you away" Roc replied. "Who else you got to find?" Prince asked as Roc scanned the room looking for anyone else. "Diggy and YN" he said. I looked to where Myles was hiding seeing he wasn't there. Then I looked behind Prince and saw Myles standing behind him focused on his phone. I realized he said YN was still hiding so I texted her.

To: Her ❤️
Where you hiding at? Roc said he still has to find me and you

I didn't get a reply back so I tried calling her and still no answer. I called her a few more times still no answer. 'She must not be trying to get caught' I thought to myself until I got a text from Roc.

To: Digg
Game over! Everyone meet back in main backstage room

I made my way to the main backstage room to see everyone there except YN. "Where's YN?" I asked sitting down on the couch. "I don't know. No one can find her" Roc said. We all tried calling her phone but none of us got an answer. So we tried texting her but no reply. I was getting a little scared.

We all went looking for her everywhere in the building not just backstage. I headed towards her dressing room and she wasn't there. I became more worried when I saw her phone lying on the couch. I picked it up pressing the home button and saw all the missed calls and messages.

"YN" I screamed running down the hallway. I searched every single thing and place I could. "YN" I screamed again. "Diggy?" I heard someone scream from the cafeteria.

I took off running towards the cafeteria. When I opened the doors, I immediately scanned the room for her as my heart rapidly beat. "YN" I screamed again. "Diggy" she screamed. I ran towards the room connected to the cafeteria as I pushed anything and everything out off my way. I pushed the door open and gasped. I stood in awe when I saw YN in a corner covering her legs with her arms and tears running down her dark brown eyes. Roger, my old assistant, hovering over her shivering body. "Diggy" she managed to say. "Shut up bitch" Roger told her as he slapped her face. She winced in pain as tears escaped her eyes.

"Get the fuck off of her" I yelled. Roger looked at me with a huge grin on his face while YN looked at me with fear in her eyes. "No"

Roger and I fought for about five minutes straight until he pulled out a gun. My mind went blank and my body froze in its spot as I tensed up. The gun wasn't pointed at me; it was pointed directly at YN. "You wouldn't" I said to Roger. "Oh we both know I would" Roger replied. He took the safety off the gun and aimed it right at YN's head.

POW! POW! The only noise to be heard was two gun shots.
