As ya Ahmad stop a Napep to take us home I was seriously annoyed with myself,I really made a fool of myself . The most annoying thing is that I could not stop thinking about those beautiful eyes.
Why so grey, i dreamily wondered.
" why are you quiet" asked ya Ahmad.
I quickly put up a normal face and answered his question.
" I'm just eager to reach home cos I'm hungry, that all" I said instead.
" then why didn't you tell me we would have eaten at the restaurant closed to the company" he said disappointedly.
" Don't worry, I just want to eat my mother's food not anyother's" I jokingly said. He jokingly tut at me.
" mama's daughter " he teasingly said,while I laughed. It so rare to see ya Ahmad making jokes ,he is usually a serious type of person. But I love this side of him, he is more friendly when making jokes.
The Napep man parked the napep where he was to drop us and ya Ahmad paid the money. We walked into
our house and salaamed.
" wa alaikum salam" answer mama and Aisha simultaneously. Aisha already called that she is waiting for me in my house.
" How was it" mama asked ya Ahmad with a soft smile.
He smile at her and gave her a side hug.
" Alhamdulillah they approved mama" he happily said to her while mama shows her happiness by kissing his forehead. Ya Ahmad is like a egg in mama's eye same as she is to him.
" my son, I'm so happy for you. This is a great achievement for you and I pray for more of it insha Allah. " she prayed while touching his face lovingly with both of her hands.
" Ameen mama, thank you " he replied lovingly.
" I'm so jealous right now" cooed Aisha, and I agreed with her there. It was a great sight, seeing mother and son like this.
After they finished their mother and son talk,, mama turned and smiled at us.
" come let eat our lunch, Aisha also helped in preparing it" she said as she look at aisha.
Really?
" so monkey fit cook" I said while pinching her cheek. She slap my hand. From her cheek.
" stop it ameera" she said with faked anger.
We all made our way to have our lunch,it was rice and stew with meat. The meal was so delicious.
*** few minutes later**
" so how was the company, is it that big." Aisha asked, eagerly to hear my answer.
We were sitted in my room after the delicious food we just consumed.
" yeah it's so big, I've never seen a company as big as that. You need to see it Aisha" I said as I remember the grey eye specie.
" I can see you are thinking of something or should I say someone " teased Aisha.
What! Was it that obvious, I wondered
" nope I was not thinking of anything " I said quickly. She only playfully raised her eyebrows at me.
" can't you see how red your face has turned, who were you thinking about. Please tell me,i want to know " said Aisha in a baby voice.
Really! Aisha
" stop acting like a small child. OK listen cos I'm not repeating anything again" I said to her.
