CHAPTER 44

AMEERA

Sitting in our university IT park is sadiya, Aisha and I. We just came out of our first lecture and decided to have some girls time here.

" speaking about exes.Ameera do you remember Faisal's sister ,the small one who got married last few months? " Aisha asked and I nodded

" Her marriage is now over. She was caught by her husband in bed with another man. That girl is to spoilt for her age. "

But mama never mentioned it to me

" I really pity inna(faisal mother), she won't be able to bear this shame. That girl is something else, she needs serious prayer and Faisal never mentioned anything like this to me the last time I saw him"

Aisha looked surprised

" so you've met Faisal? I mean, how? When?"

" erm, the day I went shopping with sadiya"

Sadiya look alarmed at the mention of her name.

" you mean, the day you took off with Amir and left only me in the restaurant,dz?" sadiya asked.

" yes"

" That means,amir also saw the Faisal guy right, that was why you two left because he was angry?" sadiya asked and I nodded.

" But, Amir didn't know he was my ex"

She look confused " Then why was he angry"

" He was angry because Faisal held my hand when I was about to go into the restaurant " I explain

She nodded " he is lucky yaya didn't go maniac on him. Yaya can be so jealous and when that happens , he is always scary. "

I look surprise at this new information. Can Amir be scary when he is jealous? I know he gets jealous easily but scary, is another new thing.

" Hey, don't think too much about it. But it will be better if you have just told him Faisal was your ex, especially now that you two love eachother so much. You don't need to lie to yaya"

I nodded at her and drank from the bottle water I was holding. These days ,I notice that I get neuseous easily
, I really need to see a doctor.

" when matter like that arises again, I promise to tell him" I said to them and they nod at me

" we better get going for our next lecture b'coz the time is already 12:00pm. " Aisha announced

We gathered all our belongings and each one of us made our way to each of our venue.

My last lecture just ended. Today's, class was lively and I really enjoyed it. I pack my books into my bags.

" Ameera"someone called my name from where I was sitting. I turn to see that person and it was Sarah, my new friend in class.

She walk closer to me with a wide smile

" guess what!! " she said

I gave her a confused look " what? "

" I said you should guess joh. Well, anyways we are in the same group"

our lecturer gave us a group assignment and he told the course Rep to divide the class into four groups. I think that why she is happy b'coz we are in the same group.

I shake my head at her " that is why you're smiling like a happy cat? " I tease

" hey, I'm only happy I got to be in the same group as you"
