"Okay, you kids need to leave now while I'm asking nicely." She spoke in a tone that sounded polite but threatening.

"And I said we won't leave. Why don't you get lost and let us be?!" The first kid yelled furiously.

How disrespectful!

Lauren snapped. The emotion she fought to control all the while burst open like a volcanic eruption.

She looked down on the kids, and grinned uttering the words, "Kids these days..." under her breath, glaring at the two kids, who in turn stopped what they were doing and turned to see Lauren with her lips curling into a sinister smile.

If only they knew what she had planned to do to them?

She turned, and began humming what sounded like Darth Vader's 'imperial march' from the movie Star Wars as she disappeared to the back of the counter.

Just when the kids thought she had given up and turned to continue playing; one of them looked over his shoulder, only to see Lauren charging at them, with a wooden bat in hand.

The first kid quickly tapped the other on the shoulder and yelled, "She's coming! Run!" and they both started to run.

Don't run! Stay right there so I can set you straight. She barked chasing after them.

A few customers who were scattered along the isle, making purchases heard noises coming from the back and stuck their head out trying to see what the commotion was all about as they were stunned to see one of the salesgirls running crazily after two kids with a bat in her grip.

"Is she alright?" Asked one of the customers who saw how the children dribbled their way through the aisles.

"Yes ma'am she's fine. One of her colleague who stood at the counter answered. "Lauren can you keep it down! You're disturbing the customers."

Lauren who heard her colleague call out to her stopped looking towards her and the customers.

"I'm sorry. Please excuse me." She huffed whilst she continued on her chase.

Stretching out her hand in a bid to grab one of them, she misses as the children ran from isle to isle while they continued taunting her, making it difficult for her to catch them till they made it outside the mart.

Running at an uncontrollable speed as she approached the exit, Lauren tripped on her foot, losing her balance which caused her to fall flat on the floor, as she subconsciously threw the bat. The bat flew across the walkway striking the back window of the car parked beside the mart. The strike was so intense that the glass shattered, sending little pieces of debris flying inside, and it struck the person seated at the back.
