"Are you okay?" She heard her sister ask

Alex turned her, she rolled her eyes  "mom called me into her office. She thinks stiles is the cause of my outbursts of attitude" She told her  "I explained that it was in fact not my boyfriend but her husband"

"We have to go out tonight" Allison told her Alex, disregarding her sisters mood

Alex narrows her brows "Why?" She asked

"Dad has a plan to catch Jackson" she replied in a hushed tone

Alex scoffed "No doubt a bad one" she quipped "I'll talk to stiles about it"

"Why?" Allison asked "Why can't you talk to me" she sighed.

Alex looked at her, now confused "What you wanna go together?" She asked

Allison huffed "No.. I just.. I- you seem distant" she struggled to word

"That's because I can't stand to be around that man Allison"

"That man is our dad" Allison defend

"No!" Alex snapped "that man is someone who kills for pleasure because something is inhuman. Well so am I and when he's blaming us for deaths of people that's when I draw the line"

"He's not blaming us he's just-

"Don't" Alex shook her head "Please don't try and justify his actions"

"Alright" she nodded

"I have to go. I have bio"

It was later in the evening, Alex was back home due to her mother's threats. She stood at the door Leading to the basement, listening to the vague conversation that her father had with Allison about his plan to capture Jackson at the club.

Alex of course wanting no part, she knew something wasn't rights. It never was with her family.

Allison walked up the stairs, stopping at the top when she seen Alex.

"so you are helping?" Alex asked, crossing her arms

She nodded "i have to. I'm sorry"

Allison genuinely meant her apology, she hated that she couldn't fully support her sister but she needed to help her dad there wasn't much more they could do alone

Alex had spent the rest of the day feeling bad about her small argument with Allison. It wasn't fair to but her in the middle, she shouldn't have to chose who she gets to love, he was still her dad regardless of everything
