The communication means of Elmitrios was different than what the IMG and the others were using. It was telepathic and only beings with super conscience like the Gods could use it. Previously, in his conversation with Laraken, he had not mouthed any of his dialogue. It was conversed via thoughts. And this particular feature was very advantageous because it would have been of no help, only the contrary, if Juvo had heard what they were conversing about.

But it was not so easy. How could he manage to hold Juvo off for so long until Laraken came? He couldn't see how it was possible.

He felt the cracking. The shield broke.

Elmitrios ducked just in time to avoid a deathly blow from Juvo. His feral stealth was formidable.

"I have waited an entire year for this; but it felt like a lifetime. To finally gain the power I deserved and to dethrone the unworthy. It won't be long now. Your end is nearing. I won't kill you, Elmitrios. I will defeat you. The only salvation you'd know will be to watch the multiverse take shape anew, how I deem it to be perfect. I will make the Creators proud." The hope in his voice was daunting.

Elmitrios understood his words very well. He was nearing the end of his power. It wouldn't be long till he gave out.

Suddenly, there was a gasp. It was his own.

Then, a realisation hit him.

For a moment everything blurred around him. Time seemed to stop. Slowly a smiled brightened his face.

"I'm not joking. I mean what I say," Juvo said, angrily.

But it was not that. Elmitrios was grateful for what he had realised. He called Saaret.

Saaret didn't feel well, knowing the fact that he was resting at a crucial time like this. He had been of help shielding off the enemies, it was true. But it was simply not enough. He needed to be there for them all. He needed to serve the Gods who were in need. He felt bad realising the fact that he had been the one who had helped this army reach Juvo. But, it was destined. He was not permitted to alter what was unchangeable. He felt helpless.

"Saaret, do you hear?" A voice bellowed in his head. A familiar voice.

"Lord Elmitrios! Yes I do? What do you ask of me?"

"I need you to go to Hitharia, and meet Laraken. He has something we need."

Saaret hyperventilated. "But that cannot be!" He pleaded in his head.

"Why? Are you refusing me at this hour of need?!"

"My Lord, I'm forbidden to enter that land. Don't you remember? I was bestowed with Godly powers, almost equal to you. But I was denied access to that land. It was why I couldn't be in you divine presence whenever I wanted to. It was because Lord Valal... did not trust me fully. He couldn't allow me there, because I held too much power."
