I regretted my decision of promising my girlfriend that I would go on a run with her when the alarm went off at 4:45 in the morning.

It started off with what I thought was the actually bloody thing, but really it was- "just the warm up". Her words.. not mine.

After six fucking miles... Yes, you read that right.. SIX bloody miles. We finally got back to where we started and I thought I though was going to die.

"Here. Take this," a water bottle was handed to me and instantaneously I took a big gulp. Refreshing as fuck, I might say. The water seemed to refill itself as I was drinking from it.

"I charmed it to refill automatically," she stated proudly, "Genius, right?" a beautiful smile crossed her lips,

She wasn't even out of breath. I had no clue she ran that much every morning.

"Real brilliant, Em." I sarcastically said back struggling to breathe. She was fucking killing me. Truly. But she also was the only thing keeping me together.

It had been two weeks since we left Hogwarts. We both agreed we should talk about what happened that night at the astronomy tower once. And then we were never going to fight or use it against each other ever again.

At first, I was.. upset. I was upset with myself. Then I was angry. I was angry with her for doing it for me.

I don't know why I couldn't just... kill him. But, I couldn't. I just couldn't fucking do it.

But, when she told me that she did it because she had to and not because she didn't believe in me, it made me feel a lot better.

Surprisingly, she took the situation rather well. She didn't cry. Didn't have any breakdowns over it. She just wanted to be held for a few hours. That was all she asked for.

It took me a few days to realise that she didn't react because I took away the ability to process death. She couldn't remember how to feel that way anymore.

And I hated myself for it. I hated that less than 3 months ago, she was curled up in my bed wrapped in blankets sobbing into my chest over the pain she felt. Her tears used to soak through my shirt as I told her time and time again that it would be okay and we would get through it.

Now, she looks into my eyes with no feelings of pain at all. I think it hurts the most knowing the girl she was before all of this. All the shit she went through.. for her family.

She was truly the strongest person I knew. She always has been.

I don't know how she did but, somehow she convinced Snape to let her take her end of year exams from home. Without a doubt, she was top of the class.. again. She did it, again. Even without bloody being there.

"You don't have to go with me tomorrow, you know, if you can't keep up." she stated flatly, rolling her eyes

She was being real fucking bold this morning.

She was wearing a black running shorts and black sports bra. Her tight tan torso was glistening with sweat from the heat. Her cute little belly button was pierced with a pink gemstone. I could see her nipple piercings through the fabric of her top, which I could only assume had the matching set to the belly ring.
