It was Tuesday , we were on our way to Monte Carlo after landing in Nice. Erica slept through the whole flight from Spain, she was out cold in the car too.

"Erica, wake up! We're here." I nudged her.

She let out a sleepy grumble, stretched herself and got out of the car. For the past day, I've been around sleepy Erica because she had so much booze.

I checked us in to our rooms and sent Erica straight to the shower so she'd stop yawning and freshen up.

I too decided to clean up and call mom and Pops, they picked up in a half a ring, looks like they were anticipating a call.

"Hello Pops! I've reached Monaco, Monte Carlo is a beautiful place!"

"I know! Have fun! Explore the city, we'll be there before you even know it!"

"I can't wait to see you at the paddock ! When are both of you coming? Should I come to Nice to pick you up?"

"Natalie, this isn't our first rodeo! We'll see you Thursday morning and you don't need to come get us from the airport."

"Okay, okay!" I laughed

"Oh! And we can't wait to meet all your friends sweetie!" Mom chimed in, "Boys too! If you're seeing one or maybe more."

"Mom!"

"I'm kidding! Unless..." she teased me.

"Okay, that's it. I'm not going to be bullied by my own mother! Bye bye! See ya on Thursday!" I squealed before hanging up.

I laid in bed trying to figure out what I should do for the rest of the day, I wanted to explore the city but didn't have anyone to go with.

Tim was by the pool, Erica was a sleepy head and Arthur was spending time with his family. I could tell Lando I was ready for the duel, my thoughts were interrupted by my phone.
