there's only 12 hours left of christmas and about eight hours until a new plane can take him to nyc, which is about an hour and a half flight, and then about a 30 minute drive home...

if he's lucky, he'll have two hours to... to what exactly? sit with his parents and tell them, "no, ma. everett isn't coming home for the holidays."
