"what the hell are you doing here?" he's exhausted, and too weak to put up a fight.
"i want to talk to you. about our breakup, and the past few months, and—"
he reaches his hand up to silence the brunette, shaking his head. "stop. i can't do this right now."
he uses his keys and opens the door, turning back to look at aidan. "go home."
"not until i—"
"go home."
aidan is frustrated, and the bags under his eyes clearly show how irritable he is. "no! i waited here for four hours for you to show up, and i'm not—"
"go home!" everett shouts, regretting the way aidan flinches. he could apologize, could pull aidan into a hug or kiss him.
instead, he slams the door in aidan's face.
