Chapter 18

"OUCH, Braxton," maarteng reklamo ni Haezell at hinablot sa pagkakahawak niya ang kamay nito sa kanya, "nasasaktan ako!" she hissed at him.

Dinala niya ito sa parking lot ng camping site kung saan banda naka-park ang kanyang sasakyan.

Galit na galit siya ngayon at gusto niyang saktan si Haezell dahil kitang kita niya kung papaano nito saktan si Zavaiah. She slapped Zavaiah countless time. At bawat sampal, sabunot at masasakit na salitang sinasabi nito ay hindi niya matanggap. Pakiramdam nita ay siya ang sinasaktan.

"I told you, masasaktan ka talaga," his voice is menacing. He wanted to strangle and wring her neck. He can still remember how this woman, pulled the hair of Zammy. "Sinabi ko naman na sa'yo, I'm done! We're done!" he shouted at her. He can feel his veins popping out but he didn't give a damn about them. He wanted to shout at her, to wake her up from the reality that they are not lovers anymore, that he is not into her anymore.

Haezell laughed, a mocking one and that irritates her, she looked at him, her face is emotionless.  "Wow? Agad agad, Braxton?" nanunumbat na saad ng dalaga sa kanya.

Hinawakan siya ng dalaga sa braso niya pero kaagad niya iyong iwinaksi. "Don't touch me!" His voice echoed, you can feel that he is really mad, he really is. How dare you lay a finger on her! He is mentally killing her.

"Bakit,Braxton?" Haezell smirked at him, "bakit ayaw mo na? Dati naman isang hawak ko lang bumibigay ka na," she mocked at him and that made his blood boil. "Bakit ngayon ayaw mo na? Is it because she's good in bed?" she sarcastically laugh.

Hindi siya nakatiis he snapped. "Don't talk shits about her, Haezell," he growled. Galit na galit siya. Diniinan niya ang pagkakahawak sa braso ni Haezell. He saw how pain flashed on her eyes and that satisfied him.

"I can ruin you, all of you," he warned her. Hindi man lang niya nakitaan ng takot ang mukha ni Haezell.

"I can ruin you too, Braxton," pagbabanta ni Haezell pabalik sa kanya. Hindi siya nagpatinag, nakipagtitigan siya sa dalaga. She smirked at him.

"I'm well known right?" she's now confident, "one post and I can ruin the both of you." She warned him. Nagdilim ang paningin niya. Mas lalo niyang hinawakan ng mahigpit sa braso si Haezell.

"Don't you dare," he warned her. "You left me first!" Nanunumbat na saad niya sa dalaga. He can still remember how she leaves everytime he asks her to marry him. Parang takot na takot ang dalaga sa commitment, sa usapang kasal, sa pag-se-settle down.

He saw how pain flashed into her eyes but it was only in a span of seconds, it changed into hatred instantly. "Kaya ka naghanap ng iba?" nanunumbat na saad ng dalaga sa kanya.

"What I'm asking is time to think, Braxton! Just let me finish my reigning period!" her voice is sharp and full of hatred. Bumitaw siya ng hawak sa dalaga at napahilamos sa  mukha niya gamit ang palad niya.

"And then what? After another, sasali ka na naman? And when I ask you to marry me, tatakas ka ulit?" Nanunumbat na tanong niya kay Haezell. "That's not right, Haezell! Ngayong may mahal na akong iba, tsaka mo ako babalikan? Don't you think that's unfair?"

"Sa tingin mo, fair din ba ang ginawa mong naghanap ka kaagad ng pamalit sa akin?" Tears started to flow from Haezell's eyes, "mahal na mahal kita, Braxton. It's just that I'm not ready to settle down—"

"I know, you're not ready to settle down," he cut her off.

"But I'm ready now," hinawakan siya ni Haezell sa kamay, "I'm ready to marry you now, kahit ngayon pa." Her voice is full of hope, honestly, he never see her in this state right now. She's really begging him to come back. May Zavaiah na ako, and I love her so much.
