Can you drop it down, make that ass talk to me?

Rosa started dressing up early in the morning. She would normally spend two hours every morning working on her outward appearance, but that day she used almost three hours.

Because of her, the Khan Family was late to the "The Westin". As luck would have it, Tahera had also just arrived. Both parties practically crossed the revolving doors at the same time.

"Welcome..." As the pretty uniformed server greeted them, Tahera saw Rosa's group not far away.

Rosa's group saw her too! Rosa stopped walking. What is Tahera doing here?

"Why is she here?" Mrs. Khan frowned with strong disgust the moment she saw Tahera.

"Let her be. Let's go, we're going to be late," Mr. Khan scanned Tahera and ushered them forward.

Rosa wanted to ignore Tahera too but she was walking their way. Thinking about what happened yesterday, Rosa felt the urge to slap Tahera rising up within her!

She moved forward to block Tahera's way and asked with a thin smile, "What are you doing here?" There was extreme provocation and condescension in the tone of her question.

Tahera looked at her indifferently, as if she were regarding some human trash, and replied, "What does it have to do with you?"

Rosa laughed scornfully. "Tahera, who do you think you are? You're nothing more than a despicable woman who used tricks to steal everything away from Riya. Have you no shame?"

From how Rosa saw it, Riya was an innocent victim that fell into Tahera's evil clutches. Even though Tahera had money now, she still looked down on her. In her heart, Tahera would forever be beneath her!

"You done? Get out of my way." Tahera didn't deign to entertain her.

Mrs. Khan flared up immediately. "Woman, watch your tongue! How dare you be so disrespectful towards my daughter‽"

Severity entered Mr. Khan's gaze. He too was not Tahera's fan. After all, she did steal his daughter's happiness.

"Mom, this is how people from broken families talk. Don't lower yourself down to her level, she's not worth it," Rosa turned her nose up and said condescendingly.

Mrs. Khan laughed scornfully, a complete replica of what Rosa did a moment ago. "You're right. I shouldn't waste my time lecturing a streetwalker witch like her."

Tahera looked at them coldly, wondering how long they could keep this going.

She stared icily at Rosa, "Done with your crap? Now move out of the way!"

Rosa was reminded of the insult Tahera lampooned at her yesterday, about how she had her a*s on her face...

Fury twisted her features. "Tahera, you better watch your language and show some respect! I'm telling you, no matter how you strut yourself in front of Taahir, he will not take one look at you! The one he loves is me, you will never tear us apart!"

"Do you know why we're here today?" Mrs. Khan came forward to gloat, "Taahir booked a table, and specifically invited us to come for lunch."

Rosa added triumphantly, "That's right. Do you think telling him about what happened in the past will change his love for me? Tahera, you're too naïve. He wasn't even angry at me. Not only that, he arranged this lunch specifically to meet my parents. You're nothing to him; he doesn't care about how you feel!"
