"...Well you should be, because if you value your life then yeah, you should be afraid." A man stood in the shadows.

"Why are you such a coward. Come out of the shadows and show your face, unless you're scared of me?" I laughed.

"Ha me? Scared of you? No!" The man stepped out of the shadows.

"Hunter Fox. Ironic name don't you think?" I sneered.

"Well I guess that why my parents wanted to name me that." He shrugged.

"What do you want?" I asked, getting straight to this point.

"I want revenge." He growled.

"Oh for the other day? That was only a little snippet of what I can do." I smirked.

"Well darling you're in for a treat." He smiled. He stepped closer to me and since he was taller than me, he towered over.

"You think you can beat me. Well I know you won't." he whispered, coming close to my ear.

"Fox I will always beat you." I smirked.

"We'll see about that." He sneered. He bent down to pet Casey who growled and lunged at Fox. He bit on to his hand and even as Fox shouted in pain he still held on. Eventually Fox pushed Casey off him and ran away.

"Good boy." I patted his head. he barked in happiness. "Let's go now. I don't particularly feel like walking now." I sighed. I thought about the whole week and the party on Friday. I didn't particularly want to go since it was a week before Thanksgiving. But there's no harm in leaving early. I made my mind to go but I wouldn't stay long.

As soon as I got home I fed Casey and had shower before falling asleep. I woke up in the morning ready for school, but at the same time Fox's words chilled my body. He knows something that I don't know and I hated being a step behind him. Whatever it was I needed to find out. I pulled on some random slithers and tied my hair back. I decided to take the bus today since I wasn't in the mood to drive.

The bus journey was quick and uneventful. The school day dragged on, lesson after lesson. Before I knew it Daniel and I had made it through the first week, despite the constant talk about our relationship. It was irritating to say the least but we tried our best to ignore it and managed to get through it unscathed.

"So today's the party!" Taylor squealed. I gave her a small smile. "So come to my house and we'll get ready together.

"I think I'll come a little later today. I have work and then a few things to do before I come." I explained to her.

"Okay then. I'll see you later." She chirped. I bid my friends goodbye and went home. I quickly changed into my waitress's uniform and drove to Zara's café. "Hey look who's here!" Zara's mom exclaimed.

"Hey Anita." I smiled and hugged her.

"Well you can start by cleaning the tables and then you can start taking orders. We are slightly understaffed today as there a been a flu or something going on." I nodded and went to collect the plates and cups from the tables. I cleaned it up quickly and soon took the orders. Since there weren't that many people today I was finished by closing time.

"I have to go now but I'll be there next week." I called as I hung up my apron. I rushed to the car and quickly drive home.

As I changed I left a bowl of water and puppy food for Casey. I kissed him before leaving and made my way to Sam's. It was already quite late when I had reached but for them the party had only just started. My first priority was to find my friends and sure enough they were dancing or at the bar. Taylor had found Alex again and Ethan was drinking a beer.
