Peter Hale was never expecting to find his mate, since he's a person that only does something if it benefits him. Accept what will have happen when he does find his mate, and almost loses her? What choices will he have to make?

Peter looked over at his mate, as she let the jacket fall off, after Derek and Scott had left. He watched her, as she pulled the shirt on over her head carefully, before pulling it down after getting her arms into the sleeves. "Why didn't you tell me?" Peter asked her softly, wondering why she didn't tell him when Derek had sensed something off with her, back at the old Hale house.
Shauna couldn't bring herself to look over at Peter. She was looking down at her hands that were, gently cradling her small belly. "I was afraid, of what you'd think or say. We never talked about having a pup, or even having kids. I wasn't sure if you'd be okay with it or not." She told him, looking at him then back down at her stomach.

Peter took in everything that she was saying, before trying to get up but was struggling because of his leg since it wasn't healing as fast.

"Of course, I'd be okay with it. I am okay with it. I never thought that I'd get a chance to have a family, after the fire and being put in a coma for six years." He told her, groaning softly as he tried to get up still before just sitting there in to much pain to move.

He looked at Shauna as she carefully got up, walking over to him which made him a little worried for her, as she continued to cradle her stomach with one hand. While the other stayed at her side, he watched her as she gently sat a hand on his leg, while watching as her veins turned black. "Sweetheart...not that I'm not thankful, but you need to be careful." Peter told her, as he gently touched her cheek to snap her out of it.
Shauna looked at Peter gently sitting her hand on his, closing her eyes for a few minutes, before reopening them looking straight at him again. "I am being careful. I just...couldn't stand to see you in pain any longer. You've been through enough pain and suffering for once. It's the least I could do." She told him softly, looking straight at him.

Peter smiled softly, before gently leaning his head forward. "You are to kind, especially to someone like me. Who has done horrible, terrible things, yet you still with me and show me kindness. Something that isn't really shown to me apart from Derek. You are the strongest woman I know sweetheart. Our baby will be just as strong, and as kind as you are. My beautiful Luna." He leaned in pressing his lips to her gently, smiling when she kissed him back, while letting her go to his now short hair.
He was glad that her and the baby were alright, and safe. He didn't know what he'd do if anything happened to either of them, he really did love her and the baby, he was gonna do whatever it took to protect them. But he was hoping that Scott wouldn't kill him again, or want to fight him when he told him that he'd want to marry her.
