It Was Just For Bet

Great day. It's school days again. This year is my last day of being High School, I'm very excited to graduate.

Sometimes, I feel happy but mostly I'm not happy. Everyone on school doesn't like me except my bestfriend Aira. She's always there to cheer me up but nothing help.

Every single day I'm getting hate. I'm honestly excited to graduate because I don't want to this school anymore. I'm so sick of this. I'm tired of fighting.

Sitting here inside the room with the people hates me is not good. Even the popular boy doesn't like me also I guess. His name is Niall Horan.

Everyone always talking about me. Then few months later, Niall approach me. "Hi" he said then rubbing the back of his neck. "Hey!" I said.

"Do you need anything?" I asked. "Uhm. If that's okay, Can I ask some favor?" He shyly said. "Sure. What is it?" I said nervously.

"I don't really get the lessons on Math. Can you please teach me how? If it's okay with you?" He said. "Okay?" I quietly said.

"Is it okay every Friday? After school?" He said again. Instead of answering him, I just nodded.

Weeks past by. Niall and I are together now. After few weeks of teaching he asked me out. But this past few days he became stranger.

It's time to go to school again, While I'm walking into the hallways. Some of classmates came to me and said "Hey (Y/N), Did you know that Niall only came to you just for a bet? I'm so sorry this happen to you." And they laughed.

What the heck? Is that really true. I need to talk to Niall. That's when Niall came to me and said "Hey Princ-" I didn't let him finsih because I raised my hand to stop him.

"Is that really true? You really know the lessons on Math before right?" I asked. "What?" He said. "You only did everything—talk to me, be with me— just for a bet." I nervously said.

"(Y/N) Wait! Let me explain!" Niall said. I started walking away and maybe I will not attend school today. I was beyond upset and mad.

5 days later

I haven't move here in my room. My mom is worried to me because I haven't eaten anything. The only thing I do are take shower and cry again. Everyone probably will think that I am crazy.

There's a knock on my door. I didn't say anything cause I know that's only my Mom. I was a bit confused when footsteps I only hear.

That's when I felt two familiar strong arms wrapped around my waist. Niall.
"I'm sorry. Please let me explain." He sadly said.

I stood up and so he was. I give him a look that he could explain. "(Y/N) First of all that was mistake. Yes I admit, It was only a bet for one week. But after fews later I grew feelings for you! 3 weeks later I told them I will not continue the bet. I'm so sorry if I hurt you. Please forgive me. I didn't mean to do it to you! I relaly love you so much. I truly mean it that I love you. Please tell me we will not break up." He said then hugged me tightly.

"But you hurt me Niall. How may I trust you again? How may I know that bet is already gone?" I asked when teras started to fall to my cheeks. "I, 110% telling you the truth. I am no longer playing the bet. Please, I know It will be hard for you to forgive me easily but please let me prove it to you." He said then kissing me on my forehead.

There's a few minutes of silence. I was thinking. Should I forgive him? Maybe I should. There's always second chance right?

"Okay fine Niall! One more chance Horan!" I said. "Yes I promise you won't regret this." He said then he cupped my face and kiss me passionately.

"I love you so much Princess."

"I love you so much Prince." I said. Then he kissed my forehead.

"Okay now, you seriously need to eat something. I don't want my Princess to get sick! Let's go down." He said. I was about to protest but he already dragged me downstairs.

He pulled me to his lap and feed me. "I love you!" He said again. I smiled and kiss him.

1 year later

I didn't regret giving Niall another chance. He may did something before but the good thing is we are back together.

This past year all he did was to take care of me. Now it's summer, My parents & his parents are going to business trip. So Niall decided to stay on my place and take care of me.
