as i smiled all through the day, a thought kept floating past my mind. it recurred, and every time it did, i wondered at it.
this had been the only day i could smile genuinely and consistently all week. the only difference of this day was that i was apart from other hormonal teens, other human beings for the most part.
i was anxious 'round them, but in the confines of my room, i felt safe.
safe.
i thought people were supposed to be social animals not antisocial.
