it was a shit way to begin the morning. i drank my imaginary tea and kindly messaged him regarding his post that used the bible as defense for his statements.
he told me he had studied the bible, despite me giving him a link to someone who had actually studied the book who wasn't a foolhardy fifteen-year-old. he kept telling me that i was wrong.
it shouldn't have mattered to me what one uneducated baptist boy told me.
throughout the day, more and more people saw his post, and more and more people became furious. i saw my friends publicly out him for his cruelness toward us. it was beautiful, in a way.
we were all still valid in the end, never torn down by the minor trembles caused by one person who opposed the idea of my lips on another girl's.
