the maxi-ford isn't a difficult tap move. frankly, it's one of the easier ones once you're used to it.
so, i did it with ease in our pinnacle number, but the metal of my show raked my left ankle, cutting the skin and causing me to flinch once we were facing the back of the stage.
for a moment, i considered quitting.
nonetheless, we finished the song with grace. a little blood and a cut couldn't change that.
