i handed out hugs and love to the people whom i longed to see for a week but could not, laughed with them as we told mini stories of our fall break. my smile was wide, and i could only hope theirs were too.
and then there was the brown boy with glasses and dark eyes and a smile that made you feel like nothing could beat this high.
we joked back and forth and talked and talked and exchanged slaps and punches to the other's shoulder and laughter and answers for an assignment.
he walked me to chorus again, despite physics being the other direction entirely.
i could smile and smile and smile and the grinning would never express enough how happy he makes me.
