~Chapter Twenty-Two~

... What do to...

"Having trouble making a decision?" Damien asked. 

"Yes." I replied. 

"How about we go to the water park area?" Damien suggested. 

"Sure, sounds fun."

Before I could take a single step, Damien stopped me.

"What?" I asked, questioningly.

"Close your eyes."

"Okay..."

So, I closed my eyes.

I then felt myself being picked up.

"Damien! What're you-"

I stopped, when I felt Damien place me on his shoulders.

"(y/n), you can always trust me. Remember that."

"Okay. Wow, I love being this tall!"

"Yeah. It is nice to be tall."

Damien then carried me to the water park area.

"Okay. There's tube rides, slide rides, lazy river, and, a wave pool." Damien said, while pointing to each thing, as he said it. 

"Wave pool!" 

I didn't even hesitate to say my suggestion. 

"Well, first we need to get changed."

"Oh, right. Silly me."

We then went to the changing area, and, got changed.

When I came out, Damien was waiting for me.

He whistled.

"Looking good, (y/n)."

"Thanks."

Why must Damien be like that? It's embarrassing.

As if Damien could read my mind...

"No need to be embarrassed. You truly are sexy. Now, let's go to the wave pool."

Damien and I then ran to the wave pool. It was so giant, I'm sure our house could fit in the space.

Damien and I then got into the water.

It was so cold!

Though, Damien looked just fine.

"Damien, aren't you cold?"

"No, not really."

"How?"

"Well, for one, I don't get cold easily. And, two, I have a hot girl next to me." Damien said, while smirking. 

I rolled my eyes.

"So, do you want to jump with the..." My voice trailed off, when I saw a wave coming towards us.

I tried to swim away, to no avail.

Damien must've caught on, because, he grabbed me.

The wave tossed both of us forward.

Luckily, neither of us were harmed.

"You okay, (y/n)?"

"Yeah. But, let's get out of the wave pool."

"Alright. What next?"

"The tube slides." I suggested. 

"Sure."

Damien and I headed towards a surprisingly short line.

When it was our turn, we got on to the tube.

"You ready?"

"Yep!"

The worker then pushed us down.

And, away we were.

The tube, Damien, and I fell down a long block slide. We then went twisting, in a cylinder-like area.

When we exited the cylinder, we went twisting left and right, front, backwards, everywhere!

"Isn't this great!?" Damien asked. 

"Yeah!"

Sadly, the ride soon ended.

Damien helped me out of the landing pool area.

"That was so much fun!"

"And, image, we could come here, whenever we wanted. At least, until school starts up again."

My eyes lit up, as Damien said that.

"So, what shall we do next?" Damien asked. 

He's so considerate to ask for my opinion. 

"Let's go on more rides."

"Okay."

We then went to a slide ride. You could go on it alone, or, with someone else. You'd go down twists and turns... In the dark!

"Want to go together?"

"Aw, is Damien afraid of the dark?"

"Me? Ha! Don't make me laugh! I was just suggesting that because I didn't know if you were afraid of the dark or not."

"Well, for your information, I've outgrown that stage of life."

"Okay."

"But... We can still go on the ride together."

"Great!"

We then noticed that the line had moved forward. People were impatiently waiting behind us.

Oops...

Once it was our turn, we requested to go together.

"Aw, such a cute couple." The worker said, trying to be quiet. 

But, I still heard her. 

We are not a couple.

Though, I guess I can't blame her. On the outside, we do look like a couple.

We then got in the water.

When the lady pushed us, we went DOWN!

Instinct came in, and, I grabbed onto Damien.

"You okay?" Damien said, voice full of concern. 

"Yeah!"

There was then a bump in the ride. I jumped to the side... And, my lips... Went right onto Damien's.

Like Lyle and Henry, I did not pull away. And, just like Lyle and Henry, Damien didn't pull away. In fact, we kissed, until we came into the clearing.

"Wow..."

"(y/n), that was intense!"

"Yeah..."

"(y/n), you okay?" Damien asked, voice full of concern and... Worry? 

"Don't worry, I'm fine."

"Well, what shall we do now? It's all up to you."

As I looked around, I searched for my favorite ride.

The lazy river.

Soon, I found it, and, was leading Damien towards the lazy river.

"Damien, can you promise me something?"

"Sure, what is it?"

"Can you promise to not let me drown, if I fall asleep?"

"Of course. You have my word."

"Great!" I said, before grabbing a ring, and, laying on it.

Damien did the same.

After getting on the ring, I closed my eyes.

And, relaxed.
