~Chapter Thirty-Eight~

My eyes fluttered open, to see that I was in my room.

Was it all a dream?

Next to my bed was my phone.

But... I thought that I had lost it.

Maybe it really was just a dream.

Though, when I looked at my sore wrists, I knew for sure that it wasn't a dream.

And, my brothers... They had saved me...

I got out bed, and, got dressed in a (Favorite color) t-shirt, jeans, and grey socks.
After putting my hair in (style), I headed out of my room.

I decided to start my search in the front room.

No one.

I then heard five different voices talking.

"Like this?" Lyle asked.

"No." Hunter said.

"Like this?" Lyle asked again.

"No!" Hunter yelled.

"I knew this was a bad idea..." Damien muttered.

"Don't' worry, (y/n) will love this." Henry said.

"And, how do you know?" Cameron asked.

"Because, I just do." Henry said.

What's a bad idea?

I went into the kitchen, to find the source of the five different voices.

There, I found all five of my brothers, surrounding a three-foot tall cake.

Lyle was getting instructions from Hunter on how to frost the cake, Damien was off the side, and, Cameron and Cameron were talking.

"... Hey..." I said.

Everyone turned to me.

"(y/n)!" They all exclaimed.

Lyle ran up to me, and, hugged me.

Henry soon joined the hug, as well as Damien.

Hunter and Cameron just stood there.

"Come on, join in!" I said.

Hunter and Cameron then joined in on the hug.

"Yay! Group hug!"
I could practically see Lyle smiling, with those words.

And, I smiled as well.

The group hug then ended, and, everyone pulled away.

"You guys made a cake for me? That's so sweet!" I said with a smile.

"Told you." Henry said, while smirking.

"So, what kind of cake is this?" I asked.

"(Whatever you want it to be)." Hunter said.

"My favorite!" I exclaimed.

Lyle, Henry, and Damien smiled.

Cameron nodded, while Hunter just stood there.

... Hope he's doing okay...

"So, is it done yet?" I asked.

"Once this fool learns how to frost, yes." Hunter said.

"Hey! I'm not a fool!" Lyle defended.

"Yeah, you are." Damien said.

"Damien, don't back Hunter up!" Lyle said.

I sighed.

...I guess boys will always be boys...

"How about I frost the cake?" I suggested.

"No. We will make the cake... All by ourselves..." Hunter said.

"Okay. So, what am I supposed to do?" I asked.

"I can finish the cake by myself. You go do something with the others." Hunter said, while grabbing the frosting from Lyle.

"Okay."

So, Cameron, Damien, Henry, Lyle, and I went out of the kitchen.

"What do you want to do, sis?" Lyle asked.

"Want to have a water balloon fight?" I asked.

"We don't have water balloons." Damien said.

"Oh..."

"But, we can go buy some." Henry suggested.

My eyes lit up.

"Really? Thanks!"

"I'll be back." Henry said, before leaving.

That just left Cameron, Damien, Lyle, and me.

"Let's play a game!" Lyle suggested.

"What game?" I asked.

"A video game!" Lyle said.

"Lyle, (y/n)'s not going to want to-"

"Sure, I'm up for a video game." I said.

Damien and Cameron looked slightly shocked.

"Oh..."

"Okay then... What game?" Cameron asked.

"Do you have any brawling games?" I asked.

"Yeah. Tons!" Lyle said, before pulling out a disc container holding at least twenty games.

I smiled.

"Perfect."
