It didn't take long for my body to react unnaturally as I pushed myself away. To my luck, my hand was resting on one of the red cup that was sitting in the cup holder. As I pushed, I felt myself unbalanced as my whole body tumbled forward.

A soft yelp escaped my lips as our heads found each other's. The moment my forehead hit against his, I started to feel a painful tingle lingering in the center of my head. The water from the cup I'd just tumbled over went flying as all the water sprinkled over us as if there was an indoor rain.

Regaining my senses, I put my hand on Landon's seat and pushed myself upwards, covering my forehead with the other hand.

"Ow," I murmured as I watch him do the same. We both stayed in that awkward position, slightly wet from the cup and suffering from the pain we've just experienced.

"How can you be so clumsy," he mutters under his breath. I might've just knocked the sleepiness out of him.

"Sorry," was all I managed to say before groaning as I dragged the upper half of my body back to my side of the car.

He blinks multiple times, rubbing his forehead while pulling the lever underneath his seat. As he adjusted the seat back into a sitting position, he looked at me with his eyes squinted. I couldn't help but feel the knot in my stomach spinning around and hitting every nerve in my body.

I flashed an awkward smile, soon adjusting my attention back to the city view.

Silence fills the air as all we could hear was each other's brushing from the water that dampened our clothes earlier. I could sense Landon getting quickly annoyed at he looks at his shoes; to what I infer probably got wet. A smirk sneaked across my lips as I quickly pressed my lips together in a thin line when Landon looks up at me.

A smile crept upon his lips as he slightly leans towards me, elbow resting on the shoulder of his seat.

"If you wanted to kiss me, you could've just said so," he teased, raising an eyebrow at me; flashing an uncontrollably attractive wink.

Holding my messed up feelings back, I leaned away from him and against the window.

"Woah there, buddy," I awkwardly spit out, curling my arms against my chest in effort to defend myself from him, "The last person I'd ever want to kiss is you."

As he leans further towards me, I felt my air being sucked out of my chest. It was getting harder breathe every single time he inches closer to me.

"Doesn't look like it when you kissed me back at the mall," he teased, poking a finger at my head playfully.

I sat up in defense and couldn't help but gasp at his comeback. That moment when we kissed at the mall slipped my mind quickly after it happened.

"You kissed me!" I screamed at him, pointing my index finger at his chest almost stabbing my nails through his rain jacket.

He shrugs before recovering back in his seat, "You wouldn't shut up, so," he mumbled underneath his breath as he stretches his arms out.

"You seem to hate me, a lot," he speaks up again, however this time there was a sense of weakness in his voice.

Brushing off his sudden change in attitude, I answered with a sly, "Because I do," before silence quickly fills the air again.

Meanwhile, Landon drifted off into the hard thinking stage that he was in before he took his nap. I licked my upper lip, observing his features as he kept his gaze ahead of us. Although his eyes were traveling back and forth on the city lights, he was lost in deep thought. He had his tongue slightly sticking out between his lips. Can't believe I kissed that thing.
