Theon had felt suffocated inside the castle. He had made his way out the beach. The ocean was calming to him. Especially when the sun was setting and causing light colors to reflect off the waves. He pushed his feet into the cool sand and let the wind push his hair out of his face. He began to think about something he hadn't thought about in a long time.

He remembered Jon and Robb at Winterfell. The three of them were brothers to each other. They were all so young and foolish back then. It felt so long ago.

Theon's happiness of the memories dissipated. It made him sad to think about it. He missed it so much that it hurt in his chest. He had made so many mistakes. He had too many regrets and it made those old memories hurt even more. He had betrayed his brothers. He wished more than anything he could take it all back.

Yara and Tara were the only ones left in the world that cared about him and he had left Yara to die. Perhaps Reek wasn't gone yet, perhaps he had just been hiding.

"Theon." It was Tara's voice. Theon turned to see her walking towards him. He tried to shake his thoughts. Little did he know, Tara had been looking for him everywhere. She sat down on the sand next to him, folding her legs to the side.

"I have to tell you something." Tara knew this might be difficult.

Theon turned to her waiting for what she was going to say. He figured it was something that had happened in the counsel room.

"They have a plan. They're going to capture one of those wights to show to Cersei, to prove that the threat is real." Tara hesitated for a moment, "Tyrion and Davos are going to King's Landing so Tyrion can try to get Jaime to listen to him."

"I'm going to go with them." Tara admitted. Theon's face changed. He hadn't expected this. "My family, this might be the last chance I have to find them."

Theon nodded, "Then I'm going with you." He didn't hesitate for a moment.

Tara almost broke when he said that, "They said you can't come with me. The gold cloaks might recognize you."

Theon looked at his feet in the sand. "Tara, I- I don't want anything bad to happen to you."

"I don't want anything bad to happen to you either." Tara studied Theon. She wanted something more of a response from him but he wasn't looking at her. "It's just- I feel this something I have to do."

Theon still didn't look at her. He just nodded towards the sand. He knew she had to go. He wouldn't tell her that she couldn't. He was just afraid.

Tara reached towards him and placed her hand on his arm. "I'm sorry Theon. I'm sorry that I am now the one to leave you."

Theon finally turned to her. He looked into her blue eyes, ones he had seen so many times. The sun was washing through them, making them softer than ever. His mind was full of conflicting thoughts but he knew this was real. This was the most real thing he had. He placed his hand on her stomach. At first, Tara was surprised but it brought a smile to her face. She placed her hand on top of his. For a moment, she couldn't help but have a vision of her and Theon, walking along with their child walking between them.

Theon brought his hand to her chin and turned her gently towards him. He brought his lips to her's. Both of their hearts rose in sync. Slowly, they started to kiss more and more. They both knew they were going to be far from each other and it made the moment now, together, even more special.

Theon kissed her once more before he slowly pulled away. Their foreheads now rested against each other. They were so close together. "Tara.." Theon said to only her.

"I want to make love to you." Theon couldn't believe he said it. It surprised him that he used to be able to have sex so easily. It was whore after whore, but this was so alien to him. He had never felt this connected to another person. Sometimes, it even scared him.

Tara couldn't help but smile. She knew her cheeks were hot red. Tara was nervous. She had sex with countless men but it was always for money. Never for love. Never had a man said those words to her.

"I do too." She said back.

Theon kissed her yet again. She kissed him back. Theon wrapped his arms around her and helped set her down on the hard sand.

They looked each other in the eyes for a moment. Theon put his hand on her face and traced down her jaw to her chin. He wanted to remember all the curves in her face. He wanted to remember exactly how she looked and how she felt.

"I love you."

"I love you too."

--

Tara was on a rowboat with Davos and Tyrion, rowing towards King's Landing. However, her mind was in a completely different place.

All she thought was of Theon. Those moments on the beach made her feel like a brand new person. Someone who was capable of being loved.

A man had never been so gentle with her. Theon had stopped periodically, asking if she was ok, asking to make sure he wasn't hurting her. She felt now that every time before hadn't counted, that only till now had she been deflowered. It was a thought that made her warm inside.

"Tara." Tara snapped out of her other world. She had completely forgotten where she had been for a moment.

It was Davos, "I want to remind you that you won't have too much time once we land."

"I'll be quick." Tara said back.

"Are you sure you will be able to find your way through the streets? They have probably changed a bit since you were younger." Davos asked.

"They have probably changed quite a bit since you were younger." Tyrion interrupted.

Davos only let out amusement from the change in his face, "You're right. I guess I wouldn't be all too helpful either."

Tara let out a smile from their rapport. "You know, my father used to talk all about you Ser Davos. Being from flea bottom, we all sort of looked up to you. My father wanted to be like you." Tara chuckled.

"I was just a smuggler who got lucky." Davos admitted as he smiled.

"I guess lucky was what my father aspired to be." Tara said back.

Davos wrapped the rope up into a bundle as Tara and Tyrion walked towards the rocky cliff. King's Landing sat right above them. Tara felt she was in some sort of dream, seeing a place she hadn't seen since she was 10.

"Last time I was here, I killed my father with a crossbow." Tyrion said as he looked at the city.

"Last time I was here, you killed my son with wildfire." Davos said as he walked up the beach. Tyrion looked back at him, feeling sympathy but not knowing the right way to express it.

"There's a path to the left that hugs the cliff. The guards hardly ever patrol it. Too many steps." Davos said. He started to walk forward.

"Fleabottom is this way." Davos said to Tara.

Tyrion turned to Davos, "You're not staying here?"

"I have my own business in flea bottom myself." Davos said, not slowing. Tara decided she must not slow as well.

"What if someone takes the boat?" Tyrion asked concerned.

"Then we're fucked. Best hurry." Davos answered honestly.

Tyrion stood for moment, almost confused. He started to walk quickly to the path.
