2: Memories Returned

The Hans family had to spend a night at the campsite dahil medyo malayo pa ang Ming Province at delikado na rin na basta basta bumyahe kapag ganito kadilim ang paligid at maraming bagahe. Kaya naman, they set up tents and campfire para sa lahat.

Luckily, they had a peaceful night except for Emy na dinadaluhong ng mga alaala ang isipan sa kanyang paniginip.

"I had dreams... a lot of it." Then Emy shivered.

Agad namang nilapitan siya ni Anika at kinipa ang kanyang leeg at noo para malaman kung may sakit ba siya.

"Your sweats are cold. Ikukuha kita ng makapal na isusuot."

News of her not feeling well immediately reached her family. Ayaw niya sanang magpabigat kaya hindi na niya sinabi pero nalaman ni Feng na ikinuha siya ng makapal na damit ni Anika kaya naman pinuntahan agad siya nito.

"Are you sure kaya mo?" Tanong ni Francis.

"Yes, Uncle. Magsasabi na lang po ako kung hindi ko na po talaga kaya."

Agad naman silang nakahinga ng ayos dahil doon. Kaya umalis na rin sila sa wakas.

Malayo pa ang Ming Province at nakakakalahati pa lang sila ng byahe ay pinagpapawisan na ng malamig si Emy. Sige naman ang punas sa kanya nila Anika.

It's obvious that she is in discomfort pero pinigilan niya sila na sabihin kanila Feng at Francis ang lagay niya.

Hinihingal na nagising si Emy mula sa pagkakatulog niya. She clutched her chest and felt her heart beating so fast. She was scared.

She thought as she realized na ang mga panaginip niya mula kahapon ay ang mga alaala ni Emy. The body that Samantha is occupying has finally remembered everything.

So this is Ming Province.

What Samantha knows about Ming Province is very basic.

It is one of the sub-cities of Grey City at madalas itong masugod ng mga nomads. Maliit lang kasi ang lugar na ito at napapaligiran ng forests.

Mataba ang lupa dito kaya isa ito sa pinagkukunan ng crops ng Grey City. Bukod pa doon, dahil puro Chinese descendants ang mga naririto, napakayaman nila sa tradisyon at pagkakaabalahan.

Samantha heard that the ladies here are also taught martial arts at a very young age unlike sa Grey City na puro mga scholars at artistic ang mga kababaihan.

Kung papapiliin siya, she would prefer the lifestyle here in Ming Province.

However, Emy has different taste. It would be neither of the two.

Since nanumbalik na sa katawan at isipan ni Emy ang mga alaala niya, Samantha feels like she had been in two places at the same time.

Grey City and Royal City.

They are totally different from each other. But both of them now have special place in her heart. Isa pa, lumawak din ang sakop ng isipan ni Samantha.

All their knowledge combined feels amazing.

Samantha is very scholarly. Her knowledge in books is vast. Bukod pa doon, she is always like an expandable sphere wherein no matter how many information she puts in her brain, she can still accommodate more. And most of all, she's good in application. Whatever she reads, she can put it into use.

Emy, however, is very skilled in science. As Samantha dwelved on her memories, she figured out thay Emy is not just good in Chemistry. It was just her favorite but her skills expand to technology, physics and other field of science.

It was like her very existence now is the Grey City and Royal City combined.
