The room is silent, Bucky's revelation hitting Steve as well. The realization that the woman they love had been keeping this from them. That she has been keeping anything from them. The monster stuff they could probably deal with. Roswell touches her wrist and sighs softly. Part of her knew, of course, it did, that this would come out. It was only a matter of time, she just assumed she would get to choose the time and place it happened. Steve takes a breath at her side, calming himself, readying Captain America and pushing Steve back. He turns to her and takes another breath.

"You hunt monsters?" Steve asks her, she shakes her head.

"No, I never..." she sighs. "I never did the physical side of it, John and my brothers were way too protective of me, too wary of my powers that they stuck me on research...all the books, all the languages, it's because of this"

"Why didn't you say something?" Bucky asks her.

"Because....after Sam died, me coming here....it was my chance at....getting out, getting away from that" she answers. "I just wanted to be normal" she rolls her eyes. "To be...Roswell" she offers. "And to be honest....none of you asked what I did before coming here" Bucky pulls back surprised and looks to Steve who gapes a little.

"True" he admits. "We didn't....actually ask" he turns to Roswell. "But you could have told us"

"Oh yeah," she teases. "Hey, guess what my family hunts monsters..." Steve smiles a little. "Would you have believed me?" she asks them.

"No" Steve admits. "Not in the beginning....but I would have....now"

"Steve" she sighs. "I just wanted to be Roswell, not a Winchester" he softens understanding. "In my world, being a Winchester is a very big hat, very heavy hat....a hat my brothers struggled with...."

"Roswell" Steve starts. "If this is important to you..." she sighs a little and nods.

"Well it's..." Roswell smiles. "Saving people. Hunting things....the family business" she admits and then turns to Loki. "How did you know?" she asks him.

"It's easy to read you..." he comments. "There is warding on you..." Roswell lifts up the bottom of her shirt to reveal her anti-possession tattoo.

"Anti-possession" she admits.

"And..." Loki cocks his head. "There is something stronger" he points out. "Old magic....Magic that is so very old and so very powerful....that it can only be Enochian" Loki raises an eyebrow at her. "You've got Enochian magic?" he asks, Roswell touches her ribs. "Which one is it?" he asks her. "I've never actually met one...."

"Castiel" she answers. "He branded my brothers and I to stop other angels from finding us....it's a whole long story that involves the devil and the apocalypse..." she shrugs, Steve and Bucky look to her with more questions than answers, Loki senses this and gets in first.

"Now about the fae" Loki steers the conversation back to the monster on the loose.

"Okay," Roswell nods and then turns thoughtful. "Fae" she comments under her breath.

"Weaknesses?" Bucky asks.

"Depends on the fae" she answers looking back at him. "Urm...we can try iron or silver,...or we could banish it back to its realm" she offers, Loki shakes his head.

"No, it'll just come back" He argues. "I tried that" she hums a little. Loki watches her, impressed by her knowledge.

"Oh what about an electromagnetic field?" she asks him, Loki glances to her and nods.

"That could work" he smiles. "And I am sure Stark has some technology that could muster a field strong enough"

"Or Roswell could do it" Bucky points out, Loki looks to him, frowning. "With her powers, magnets are your thing, right?" he asks her, Roswell nods.

"Theoretically" she offers. "I've never really tried anything like that before"

"What are they talking about?" Loki asks Thor.

"I'm basically a human magnet," Roswell tells Loki. "It's nothing special"

"Oh that's...who you are" she cocks her. "Roswell Winchester" Loki offers. "I get it now"

"You do?" Roswell asks.

"Your name is Roswell, your brothers...Sam and Dean?" he asks, she nods a little. "Yes, see...I read the books" Loki admits. Roswell bristles and startles slightly.

"You read the books?" she asks him.

"Your name is...unique, your powers, even more so.....kind of figured it out from that" they stare at one another, studying. Steve breaks it.

"Roswell" Steve scolds, she looks to him. "No one else can do what you do, that makes you pretty damn special"

"You know I don't see it" she reminds him with a shrug.

"Not your fault" Bucky mumbles.

"From the flashback scenes in those books" Loki starts. "I am heavily inclined to agree with him. Whilst John did his best, he wasn't what you needed"

"This is slightly weird," Roswell tells Loki.

"Then perhaps we should move onto the matter you brought me here for" Loki offers her.

"Right" Steve agrees. "How do we find it first?" Steve asks them.

"We could summon it" Roswell answers turning to Loki to see if he'll agree.

"I don't have a spell for that" he admits.

"But I might" she then hurries off, Loki swings his arms at his side a little and then turns to Steve and Bucky.

"I like your girlfriend" he offers.

"Steve" Bucky whispers, Steve looks to him, the two of them sharing a look. Neither of them knew this about Roswell. The monsters, the spells.. who knows what else she is hiding from them.

"I know, Buck, we'll talk about it later..." Bucky nods a little.
