Steve pours two mugs of coffee as Bucky takes a seat at the counter across from him, Bucky takes a breath yawning into his hands as Steve approaches with the mugs, sets them on the counter. Bucky pulls his own closer.

"You talked to her yet?" Bucky asks wrapping his fingers around the mug.

"No" Steve answers. "She was still asleep when I came down and last night..." he shrugs. "I was distracted" Bucky shoots him a look. "But we will" Steve assures Bucky who sighs and then nods. "You didn't come to bed last night" Steve points out, Bucky shrugs.

"I urm...I thought she'd be mad at me" Bucky admits. "I opened that jar, I let this....fairy thing lose"

"She's not mad at you" Steve assures him. "Anyone could have done it...." Bucky sighs a little and shrugs. He feels bad even if she doesn't blame him. He shouldn't have been so stupid, but he was half asleep and looking for something to eat. And look at what he's done. He takes a breath. It's not just because of that, that's not the only reason he didn't crawl into Steve's bed last night. "And" Bucky starts. "I wasn't sure you'd want me there" Steve frowns. "In your bed" Bucky elaborates. "I wasn't sure what the rules are....."

"Buck" Steve offers softly. "We're in this together, all of us....if you want to sleep with us, then you can...." Bucky nods a little. "I don't mind sharing....that's the whole point" Steve teases a little, Bucky snorts and smiles. "Just maybe let's not have a repeat of the other morning"

"Yeah, cause I totally meant to spoon you" Bucky teases, Steve smiles at him.

"Pretty sure I was the one doing the spooning" Steve counters, Bucky smirks and shakes his head.

.................

Steve and Bucky stay seated at the counter when Roswell joins them, still part asleep as she moves to the coffee machine, Bucky shoots Steve a look, Steve holds up a finger giving her a minute to adjust to consciousness. She glances at them both and then sighs a little. She knew this was coming. Since Loki's statement. She worries her lip before steeling herself. This could be it. The end of their relationship. Them asking her to leave the facility. The end of a job she actually loves.

"You have questions" she points out, Steve nods. "Ask them, I'll answer" she assures them both softly though it shows she's actually nervous about this moment, Steve leans on the counter.

"How long?" he asks her. "How long have you known about the...supernatural stuff?" he elaborates.

"Basically since the day John saved me" she admits. "For him, it was....the day his wife was killed by a demon..." Steve fiddles with her hand between them. "Sam and Dean just as long"

"So everything...." Bucky starts. "Everything is real?"

"So far" she answers. He nods a little.

"And you hunt these things?" Bucky counters, she shakes her head.

"No" she answers. "No, I was never...I just read the books, gave them the intel...I never actually went out and killed monsters"

"Oh," Bucky relaxes slightly and nods. "Okay" that's better, he didn't want to think about her out there and dealing with monsters, he has a hard time getting his head around her dealing with humans let alone....the big and bad of mythology and legends.

"But you wanted to" Steve points out.

"Yeah" she agrees. "I wanted to" she adds. "I hated being stuck in that motel room, alone...worrying about them, and I was a teenager, I wanted to be out there and doing something...." she holds out her hands and her hands glow green with her powers. "I had these powers and no one would let me do anything with them" she admits looking between them. "I know" she sighs. "I know it was to protect me from...Shield and whoever else would be out there...Hydra maybe" she shrugs. "Still sucked" Bucky snorts a little knowing it's just like her. Stubborn and wanting to do good with what she was given. "I get it" she whispers pulling her sleeves down her arms. "If you want me to leave"

"What?" Steve asks her with a frown. "Why would you think that?" Bucky stands and moves around the counter to join her.

"I just...you know" she starts keeping her eyes down. Bucky brushes her hair over her shoulder and kisses her cheek. She looks at him, her eyes confused.

"You belong here" Bucky assures her. "With us" Steve nods in agreement and takes her hand in his. She leans into Bucky's chest and he wraps his arm around her. He kisses her head as Steve kisses the back of her hand.

"I should find Loki" she adds pulling back from them. She knows there is so much more to talk about but she needs to fix the mess made with that jar. "Figure out another way to trap this fae before it does some damage" she offers them a shrug and then leaves the apartment.

"That was weird, right?" Bucky asks, Steve nods. "Good, not just me then"

"She's probably just worried" Steve offers. "She...said at new year that she didn't tell people about the supernatural stuff because....they think she's crazy"

"She's worried we do" Bucky realizes. "She's worried we're gonna dump her" Steve lets out a breath and looks to Bucky. "Yeah, I know" Bucky states reading the look on his friend's face. "Dinner and movie" Steve smiles and nods.

"I'll go into the city and pick up some snack stuff, we used the last of the popcorn" Bucky pouts a little. "Will you keep an eye on her?" Bucky nods. "Just make sure she's...."

"I know" Bucky stops him. With Loki, the fae, her power overload and now her new mood they're worried about her. "I'll look after her" Steve nods and squeezes Bucky's shoulder.

"I'm going to get dressed" Steve states and then walks away, Bucky takes a breath and looks to his coffee. He just got Roswell, why in the hell would he give her up? Even with all this monster craziness. She accepts him, Hydra past and all, why wouldn't they do the same for her?
