"Hey, guys,what do you want to be when you grow up?" asked Red.

All the Dex Holders from the Seven Days Mission had finally had time to get together. Blue, Green, and Yellow were in college, Gold, Silver, Crystal, Ruby and Sapphire were in high school. Emerald was in Junior High, and Red, well Red lived on Mt. Silver.

"I'll take over the Daycare Center, what else?" said Gold, rolling his eyes. The Johto group had fought Arceus about a year ago.

"I'll catch Pokémon," said Crystal.

"You already do that," said Green.

"I'll gather info on every Pokémon in the world, not just Johto."

"I'll take over from my papa," said Sapphire.

That was met with silence.

"What, ya don't think I can do it?"

"No," said Emerald."I just think, that you might need to know how to read properly to do that."

"I can read!"

"Read this," said Gold, holding up a piece of paper.

"Su-Supercale..."

"My point is proven," said Emerald.

"That word's too long!" retorted Sapphire.

"Well, I'll take over the Pokémon Acadamy," said Emerald.

"I'll become a professor," said Green.

"What about the gym?" asked Yellow.

"I'll give it to Silver."

"You'll what?!"

Green rolled his eyes. "He was born in Viridian City, and, no offense, Yellow, but you would probably get beaten in the first 24 hours."

"Let's see what Silver has to say," said Red.

Silver stared at the clouds in the sky. "I'll do it. I have nothing better to do anyway," he added, when the others have him strange looks.

Ruby sighed. "I think I might take the gym after my father."

"Seriously?" asked Gold.

Ruby nodded.

Wow, Crystal mouthed.

"I'll protect Viridian Forest," said Yellow. "Hey, Blue, are you all right? You haven't said anything."

Blue's eye twitched. "Why the heck are majority of you taking after someone?!" yelled Blue. "Green and Crystal are understandable, but Ruby?!"

"You probably just don't want to take your family's company," mumbled Sapphire.

"I've already decided what I want to do!"

"What is it then!" yelled Sapphire.

"I'll keep track of all the Dex Holders!"

Everyone froze.

"W-What do you mean?" asked Yellow.

"We can't just hope for fate to bring us together in an emergency!" exclaimed Blue. "New Dex Holders are popping up all the time, like in Sinnoh and Unova! Someone has to keep track!"

The others began to protest.

"That's ridiculous!"

"That's stalking!"

"Fate is just fine!"

"It's actually a pretty good idea," said Green.

Everyone blinked.

"It is?" asked Blue. Green nodded.

"It makes sense. Other Dex Holders might need our help."

Red smiled. "He's right."

"Oh yeah, Red, you haven't told us about your future," said Blue.

"I'll stay on Mt. Silver."

Another round of protests started.

"Don't be stupid!"

"You'll become a hermit!"

"Have you lost it?!"

Red sighed. He wished these days would last forever.
