"Hurry up!" Mollie groaned as she leaned against one of the sinks in the toilet, with Nas fixing her hair and Missy filling in her eyebrows. "It's gonna start in a sec."

"What's the rush? It's only a stupid game of rugby." Missy rolled her eyes, still focused on her mirror in front of her.

"Yeah, never had you down as the type to enjoy rugby, Mol." Nas added, shooting Mollie a confused look.

"I'm not, but the boys won't stop texting me about it." She held up her phone as if it were evidence. "Riz, Cory and Jordan are all blowing up my phone. They're saying that they've planned something special before the match and they don't want me to miss it."

At that, Missy peeled her eyes from the mirror and tuned to Nas with a smirk. "By that, she just means she doesn't wanna miss seeing Riz in his rugby kit and short shorts."

Nas and Missy both broke out into a fit of laughter, while Mollie felt herself turn red. "Shut up! I have no idea what you're on about."

"Oh, come on, Mol." Nas gave the Wilson girl a pointed look. "I'm always third wheeling you two in English. Plus, I'm pretty sure he got sent out of Biology on purpose the other day just so he could go to isolation with you. Don't try and claim there's nothing going on there."

"There isn't! We're just friends. I mean it." Mollie shook her head at the very idea, although she still couldn't seem to shake away the warm bush on her cheeks. It was probably nothing. "Plus, the whole thing with Kieran is still pretty fresh. I need to focus on getting over that first."

"Well you know what they say. The best way to get over someone is to get under someone." Missy grinned before applying a generous coating of pink gloss to her lips.

Mollie rolled her eyes and sighed at the teasing smirks of both her best friends. "You guys are crazy. Now if you don't mind, I'm off to watch my brothers and my friend play rugby. You coming or not?"

The girl made sure to emphasise the word 'friend', which of course caused Nas and Missy both to snicker to themselves in disbelief. But deciding that Mollie had endured enough teasing, they exchanged a nod and followed the Wilson girl out of the bathroom.

"Let's go thrash St Mark's."

What she didn't expect, however, was for the boys to all begin smirking as Cory whistled. In an instant, the beat of a drum started to play and the boys began an almost perfectly synchronised Bhangra routine. The crowd clapped along, unable to contain their surprise and amusement at the Ackley Bridge haka.

"Oh my god. This is bloody brilliant." Nas held her hand over her mouth as she giggled at the sight, with Missy leaning into her unable to hold back her laughter.

"Glad you came to watch, then?" Mollie giggled at the two girls, who both nodded in an instant.

The music finished up, causing the crowd to cheer in support as the boys dispersed to get ready for the game to start. Mollie smiled as two figures approached her both with huge smiles on their faces.

"So, what'd you ladies think?" Cory smirked at the three girls, slightly breathless as he threw an arm around Riz's shoulder.

"That were amazing! I'm well impressed." Missy grinned, causing Mollie and Nas to nod in agreement.

"Well, we couldn't have done it without one person in particular." Riz smiled softly, his eyes landing on Mollie. "You told us not to go down without a fight, so we thought we'd give them a taste of the Ackley Bridge fighting spirit."

Mollie's lips pulled upwards into a sheepish smile, taken aback that she'd inspired the whole thing. She actually felt pretty proud of herself. "Well, I'm glad I could help. Now all you've gotta do is go out and win this bloody thing."

"We'll do our best, won't we mate?" Cory held his hand out for Riz, who nodded and gave him a high five. "Alright, we'd better get out there. See ya, girls."

The three girls smiled as they rushed back to the pitch, wishing them good luck as they went. Once they were out of shot, Nas and Missy both turned to Mollie with knowing smirks.

"He so fancies you."

"One hundred percent, babe. Did you see the way he looks at you?"

"Can you both shut up?" Mollie swatted them both away, turning her face so they wouldn't see her cheeks flushing red over the boy for the second time that day. Although she was sick of their teasing, she couldn't deny one thing that Missy had said earlier that day. Riz did look pretty damn good in his rugby kit.
