The next day, Aria decided to ambush her cousin, having spotted her on one of the platforms. "Soooooo," Aria began, sliding up next to Rosella. "You never did say how your lover boy was yesterday." Rosella rolled her eyes.

"I thought I told you to stop calling Parch my 'lover boy'" She insisted.

"I'll stop it when it stops being true."

"He's not my lover!" Rosella shouted, conveniently just as the rest of her cousins walked by.

"Who's not? Parch?" Wren asked. "Cause Parch totally is your lover."

"Everyone knows that." Pax agreed. Rosella groaned.

"He is NOT my lover." She declared. "He's just a guy who I happen to be very close with."

"LOOOOOOOVVVERRRRR!" Aria sang.

"Impossible." Prism proclaimed. "Rosie's too young for a lover- they must be dating."

"They are." Teal confirmed.

"Are not!" Rosella declared.

"What are we talking about?" Aurora's voice interjected as she walked up, Wisteria and Mako at her heels. Pax and Teal's eyes widened, and they nudged at each other and Wren, who looked confused.

"We're talking about Rose's lover." Aria offered.

"Oh, how is Parch?" Rosella threw up her talons.

"Would you all STOP IT?!" She yelled.

"Not til you get married, have dragonets, and live happily ever after." Prism insisted. She had truly inherited her mother's love for shipping.

"Prism, you're two. You shouldn't even know how dragonets work yet." Wren advised. Prism shrugged.

"I'm little, Wren, not stupid. Does anyone honestly fall for that whole stork thing?"

"I KNOW ABOUT THE STORKS!" Wisteria cried out.

"ME TOO!" Mako agreed, jumping up and down. "WISTY TOLD ME ALL ABOUTS THEM!"

"Oh, these poor innocent children." Pax offered. "They're too precious for this world."

"Truly, they are." Aria agreed. "Enjoy this phase while it lasts, you two."

"While what lasts?" Mako asked, tilting his head.

"Absolutely adorable." Pax repeated.

"Remember when Prism was that innocent?" Wren asked. They all paused.

"Nah." Rosella declared. "We corrupted her on day one."

"Hey, at least my first words weren't Damn fabulous!" Prism objected. Wren facetaloned.

"Never gonna live that one down." He grumbled.

"NEVER!" They all cried out, laughing.

"So, Rose, is your lover going to JMA this year?" Aurora prodded. "Cause I know you're going, and I'm going, and Mora's going-"

"JMA?" Wren frowned. "Why does that make me feel like I'm forgetting something..."

"Because you probably are forgetting something, En."

"Weren't you supposed to start there this year?" Teal questioned. Wren paused, the question slowly absorbing into his brain.

".....Aren't they in classes right NOW?" Aria added. Wren's eyes widened.

"Oh crap I was supposed to go there." He swore.

"SHUSH!" Rosella yelled. "There are children present!"

"Rose, I am 100% positive that Mako already knows all the swear words, and he learned them all from YOU, just like I did." Teal insisted.

"Not true! You and I learned half of them together from Mother, whenever she yelled at Dad."

"True, true." Teal grinned. "Wren, did you seriously forget to go to school?"

"In my defense," Wren objected. "No one reminded me."

"You are so clueless." Aurora declared, smiling at him. Pax and Teal shot meaningful looks at Wren, a silent cue from them to talk to Aurora, and also a threat of Wren's life if he won her heart before they did. But Wren just shrugged.

"What am even going to miss at that school? It's not like anyone who goes there really learns anything."

"Not true," Pax offered. "You learn all about the world."

"By nearly blowing it up in the process." Aria continued.

"And you meet good friends."

"Who will help you mess everything up."

"You guys are doing that creepy sibling thing and finishing each other sentences again." Teal declared.

"Why?" Aria began.

"Is it creepy?" She and Pax said at the same time in creepy voices, causing the group to jump.

"Stop that!" Teal proclaimed.

"They can't- they're the voodoo hexed twins." Wren explained. "They hatched with all white eyes."

"We did not." Pax rolled his eyes.

"Yes you did- I remember."

"Really. Like you'd remember that."

"Hey, I was four when you guys hatched. I'd remember. You, on the other hand..."

"If we hatched with all white eyes, then where'd our pupils come from?" Aria questioned.

"They rolled down, like you had been looking at your brain. It was really creepy."

"Did it look like this?" Aria asked, rolling her eyes into the back of her head. Wren jumped, and Prism, Wisteria, and Mako let out screeches of horror.

"She's possessed!" Prism shrieked.

"POSSESSED?!" Wisteria yelled. "DADDY!!"

"I'm not possessed!" Aria insisted.

"You'd know if she was." Pax agreed.

"How are you traumatizing children this time?" Shore's voice asked, walking over.

"DADDY, ARIA CAN DO SOMETHING REALLY WEIRD WITH HER EYES!" Mako shouted. "Show him Ari, show him!"

"NO!" Wisteria objected, covering her eyes.

"Oh, sorry, Wisty." Mako insisted. "I don't want her to scare you." He hugged the small hybrid, and Prism sighed with content, glancing over at Shore.

"Can you just arrange a marriage for them NOW?" She pleaded. "We all know it's gonna happen." Shore grinned.

"I would, but Permafrost would frown upon it." He offered. Prism groaned.

"Fine. Then I'll just have to marry them myself." She grumbled. " And that's SO much WORK!"
