Teal, Parch, Boysen, and Prism brought the whole story to the Dragonets of Destiny, relaying what the situation was, and why they needed back up.

And while the DOD were horrified, Glory's first response was to slowly turn and glare at Deathbringer.

"They left the school," She began. "Unsupervised,"

"We had a deal," Deathbringer insisted. "They said they'd be right back, and look! Here they are, safe and sound."

"Deathbringer-"

"You gotta let kids have an adventure, Glory."

"DEATHBRINGER, YOU HAVE ONE JOB,"

"And I'm doing a fabulous job at it, aren't I?"

"NO YOU'RE NOT! IT'S THE SIMPLEST TASK, AND YOU KEEP FAILING!"

"Am I failing, or am I helping our students learning experience?"

"You're FAILING." Tsunami rolled her eyes at the pair.

"They'll be arguing for hours over this." She declared.

"And then they'll kiss and make up, usually after Glory slaps him." Sunny commented. "How I love my OTP."

"We need a door." Clay proclaimed. "A big, unmovable door that we close at the beginning of the year for security purposes."

"That sounds a lot like the cave we used to live in." Starflight objected. "And we DON'T want our school to feel like the cave, remember?"

"It's not about the cave, it's the fact that we need to block off the exits so that dragonets stop running away-"

The teachers kept bickering, and the group exchanged a glance.

"EXCUSE ME," Parch announced, getting their attention so that they stopped talking. "I frankly don't give a shit about ANY of your conversations because the love of my life could be getting dismembered right now. So if any of you would like to come along and help me murder anyone that's hurting her, I suggest you follow us now, because I'm not waiting around for you all to stop arguing." He turned and left the cave. Teal followed with a sigh, and Boysen glanced at Prism.

"If you want to test his security abilities," Boysen offered. "Then Deathbringer, we need you to keep Prism inside the school, or Ember and Apple will slaughter us, and by extension, Pear will kill us too, and nobody wants to face off against Angry Pear."

"Wonderful," Glory insisted. "Deathbringer, guard her."

"Hell no!" Deathbringer objected. "I'm gonna go kill somebody with Parch! That's fun!"

"NO." Glory ordered. "You're being punished, and you're staying here."

"But they said they needed backup-"

"Tsunami can be backup."

"Agreed. Let's go." The Seawing declared, heading for the door already. Deathbringer gaped in offended shock.

"You're benching me for TSUNAMI?!" He demanded. "That's just cruel!"

"Too bad," Glory smirked. "Maybe this will teach you to do your job right." Deathbringer scowled.

"You are a wicked, wicked dragon, Glory."

"Shut up, you love me."

"Tell me, are you really sidelining me because I didn't do my job, or is it because you're worried I might get hurt fighting against someone if I go with them?"

".....Shut up Deathy."

"Thought so."

"I'm coming too," A new voice declared, as Parch, Teal, Boysen, and Tsunami headed out. They turned to see Wren and Mora waiting there.

"No," Tsunami started.

"Screw your no," Wren declared. "Raven's missing. And so are Rosella and Pax, who I have been babysitting for as long as I can remember. There's no way you're going to save them without me."

"And I highly doubt I will ever get an opportunity like this again, so I'm definitely coming." Mora proclaimed.

"Tell you what," Parch offered. "If Mora admits she's coming along because she wants to save Pax, you can both come along." A bitchface of doom greeted Parch, and he smiled cheekily.

"......Fine." She growled unwillingly. "So I want to save Pax, so what? Don't make a big deal out of it."

"OOOooooooo," Wren started.

"Wren, you say one word, and I will out you to the entire rainforest and tell them you want to marry Macaw's son."

Wren shut up, and Teal wisely never said a word. Tsunami glanced between the group.

"We ready?" She asked.

"Yep." Parch confirmed. "Let's go kick some ass."
