"You're crazy," Rosella declared.

"Maybe I'm not," Parch retorted. Maybe he was right. Maybe something was wrong with Prism.

....And maybe it was all Cyan's fault.

"Cyan is too stupid to BRAINWASH my cousin. And Prism's too smart for that."

"Is she?" Parch questioned. "She is young. And young dragonets are quite impressionable."

"Parch, you're still technically a dragonet."

"Yes, but I'm not a YOUNG dragonet."

"Oh, so you're old."

"Yes- wait.... WE'RE THE SAME AGE!" Rosella facetaloned.

"Wow."

"Okay, just hear me out," Parch insisted. "Let's just go to the rainforest and talk to her. It's something to do, right? It gets me out of the Stronghold, and eases your concerns about your cousin. AND we'd be together. Win-win."

"More like win win win."

"Exactly!"

".....Okay fine."

"Great! I'll go tell somebody I'm leaving," Parch paused at the door to his room. "Hang on; how did you even get permission to come here?" Rosella shrugged.

"Tricked my father into saying yes without him realizing it and then ran off before he could figure it out." Parch grinned.

"That's my Sellie."

It took Raven, Wren, and two Rainwing guards to tie up Prism and carry her to Ander's.

That fact deeply concerned Wren. Prism was a small dragonet. He remembered numerous occasions where he or Rosella could keep her pinned with just a few talons. Mako and Wisteria could overpower her if they worked together.

But now it took four full grown dragons?

Something didn't add up there.

Lots of things didn't add up.

"Ander?" Wren called, Raven trailing behind him. "Ray?" There was a crash, and then a blue dragon stumbled towards them, flowers scattered across her scales.

"Ònye na-akpọ m òkù?" Ander questioned. She spotted them and sighed. "Ah, mi favorito dreigiau hoyw. How may I assist you?"

"Something's wrong with Prism," Wren insisted. "We were hoping you could tell us what." There was another crash behind them and Ray walked up.

"Oh, so they've FINALLY come to their senses, have they?" He declared.

"Hush, amore." Ander swatted at him.

"I could smell the loša magija for MILES!" He went on. "It's about time we isolated it."

"The what what?" Raven frowned.

"Don't ask," Wren said. "It's easier if you just roll with it."

"Where is the diseased plant?" Ander questioned.

"Prism? She's-" Wren pointed down the hall and Ander flounced past him, Ray following closely behind.

Prism was tied to a chair, looking furious, with the two rainwing guards on either side of her. Ander and Ray froze at the sight of her.

"You are dismissed," Ander told the guards.

"...What?" One of them asked.

"Dismissed! Napustiti! Go! Aller!" They left, and Ray stepped closer to Prism, studying her.

"Fascinating," He whispered. "All warring for the same mind...."

"What's wrong with her?" Wren asked, as Ander stepped closer and promptly jumped back.

"Stella, vitiatas inficit," She declared. "Dos."

"No, no no," Ray objected. "Un. One is mal, one is good."

"Both are evil."

"But one is helping."

"Uhhhhh, what?" Raven raised an eyebrow, completely lost.

"She has been cursed, methinks." Ray offered.

"There is magic in her mind," Ander went on. "Magic that is not her own."

"Magic?" Wren echoed. "Like animus magic?"

"Do NOT speak those words in my home!" Ander proclaimed, shuddering at them.

"Yes," Ray explained. "Someone appears to have put a spell on her. They're controlling her."

"How do we stop it?" Raven questioned.

"Break the stella vitiatas inficit, break their curses." Ander offered.

"You have to get the one who enchanted her to fix it." Ray said. "But there's another element here, it's most intriuging..."

"What is it?" Wren asked

"She has two spells on her," Ray admitted. "Which means that there are two animuses playing with her mind, not one."
